Wait is this technically okay in the religion? You just have to be covered but you can wear kinda risky stuff?

Actually curious.

It’s great she’s amazing.

like other religions, there’s no monolith in islam and everyone interprets things differently based on personal practice, sect, and culture. you’ll see goofballs like the other reply on your post who like to be the halal police but there really is no one way to wear halal clothing.

No it's not. The entire concept of hijab is to conceal and hide your beauty in every sense, not just cover your hair. It's about not wearing bright, attractive, figure hugging clothing, not posting yourself online, not wearing makeup, not bringing attention to yourself. The woman in the video is basically just wearing a headscarf not hijab.

Edit: and you'll see a lot of hypocritical dishonest Muslims who don't like to accept that the Quran has made it very clear how women are supposed to dress. There's no question on it. I've stopped practicing the religion and this is just one of the reasons. Don't fall for their apologetics.

Ask her, not Reddit. Or are we not trusting women to practice their own religions properly? We know more than they do about it? That's the line we're taking?
