New EDM community group in Kansai - hello ravers!
EDM lovers of Kansai & Japan - check out this new community if you like Dubstep, techno, house, drum n' bass, trance, trap, trip hop, otaku mixes, jersey bass, phonk, bass music, rave music, old school electronic music!
Aurora Soul EDM Circle Kansai community on Discord is open to internationals and Japanese residents who love EDM, want to connect with people, make friends and go to shows and concerts together! There's a dedicated channel to sharing new concerts, raves, events in the area to support local Japanese DJs and underground artists and share music that you love and what to listen to with others looking to discover new music and explore. If you got a soul alight for EDM, you got a whole community you can tap into here on this side of Japan! It's a new group of about 50 people, we hope to develop and make it a community that's fun safe hype and supportive and connected! Starting monthly voice calls to get to know each other and hear from everyone's voices to create this shared vision.
There's a few questions to answer when you enter and we have some native japanese members so don't worry if your English isn't so good. We can still be together and make up the beautiful, human circle of rave music and culture lovers and pioneers. The mission is to connect beyond barriers and backgrounds and overcome a world of apathy and isolation through beats and connection- that's the Aurora Soul!
Excited to welcome new members! The future has some great possibilities! Together would love to collaborate to coordinate meetups and events, even throw parties or raves. Ultimately just want Osaka and the Kansai area to become that place that's free and fun and connected and a place of long lasting great memories. โ๐ป๐๐ซถ๐ป๐ค
I'm doing this just for the love of community and EDM, my only profit is new friends to share some cool songs with do if you have the same mindset please check out the group!
If you or someone you know is interested, open the link to the community server or message me if you have any questions!
Thanks so much!

Iโd find a group like this easier to join if there were a clear plan for people turning up solo, even just meeting outside the venue before heading in together. A pinned intro channel with everyoneโs nearest city and favourite genres could help people find a few familiar faces before their first night out. For event posts, Iโd include the closest station, entry requirements and whether catching the last train is realistic. Sharing those details in both Japanese and English would also make it easier for people to join the same conversation.
