Italian foods are the only foreign foods Iranians like

Besides Japanese, English, American, Korean, Thai, French, Indian, Bangladeshi, Moroccan, Stroopwafels, and also Turkish coffee.

For example: Shepherds pie, ale, fish and chips, an English breakfast with English muffins. I haven't really tried as much English food as I'd like really, but I know there are some gems in there. Honestly a good preparation of fish and chips paired with the right drink is unbeatable.

You'd have to pick and choose but a lot of them are easily introduced to the Iranian palate - chicken satay, bulgogi, teriyaki and tempura.

Unfortunately a lot of the foreign food exposure that Iranians or non-natives in general get to east-Asian foods are through restaurants whose quality of food is not as good as it could be - so sadly their general impression is something like: "Wow, this food sucks! These people have no culture, I'm so glad my mom's stew beats these things by a mile."

Doesn't help the different cultures get along, either.
