When I started using it like 15, maybe a little more, years ago every shop and online retailer all said coir on packaging and descriptions. But recently I’ve seen it being called hair, and was just wondering when it became the popular/preferred term.

It's the good part of the coco..there is also coco peat which is smaller like sand, and much less desirable. I try to rinse out as much peat as possible before I buffer my coco.
