someone 😭 help 😭
what is happening to our plants 😭 we watch the ph and have the general hydroponics nutrients, fan, and have tried to reduce light leak with foil. we replace the water weekly ish sometime longer, and put nutrients every day or two. we’ve cut some visibly dead leaves but we just don’t know what’s wrong with them….pls help 🙏🙏🙏

I think the light is too close to your plants. You might be giving nutes too often. Reread the instructions on the nutrients. Also the container for the plant looks too small. They should be moved in to a bigger container...

I don't know how I would even start to get this to work using what you're using now. It's just not large enough to grow a healthy plant with big buds.

To start, there’s no way you should be adding pure nutrient every couple of days. They need full either full reservoir changes or to be topped off with a tailored solution that replaces what your plants are using, at the rate they need them.
Your pH should remain relatively stable as well, so your protocol for balancing it is most likely off. This, in addition to the wonky feeding schedule is causing nutrient issues which you’re then exacerbating by adding more in.
- use a meter to add your nutrients. If you’re using tap water, reference your local water department to find out what the composition is and adjust your mixture as needed. If it’s well water, get a RO unit.
- When you balance your pH after adding your nutrient, add your base/acid, stir and wait 20-30min and retest again: it can take a bit to be properly distributed. Shoot for the lower end as the pH will drift upwards as nutrients are used up.
- Until the plants resume normal growth, test frequently and replace the reservoir as a whole until you gain the experience to make a top-off solution: don’t add straight concentrate to the reservoir itself.
- If you think the light is an issue (it may well be since everything is out of wack) turn it down or raise it up to give your plants some room and time to slow down while they recover. High light intensity (which would be tough considering the system you’re using) forces the plants to accelerate their metabolic processes, which in turn can make this whole cacophony of issues harder to escape from.
- Study, study, study. Read as much as you can about not just cannabis, but hydroponics in general. The more you know, the more you can save your girls from.
- Don’t give up: if they’re still fighting, fight with them and figure this out or the next time it happens, you’ll lose your crop again.
Best of luck! ☺️

Betting you are a new grower and well as your plants grow so do you such as the growing pains go. Research, study, retain and get great at it. As with anything, if you research and study enough about a subject and put those study's into practice ya become really good at such studies.
Adding nutrients daily or every other day is no good for them and they are telling you by the looks of those ladies. Once you add new water (I would use reverse osmosis water) and nutes and get it to the correct ppm/ec level you do not need to add any more nutes until it's time to change out the res for new water and nutes. Usually once a week especially for such a small reservoir. I have a 55 gallon res and I swap it out every other week with new water and nutes.
This system is good for clones/seedlings that have rooted up to a certain point than transplanted into something that can handle the full cycle of growth up to harvest for the ladies.
That is what I would focus on primarily. I am guessing they are in lockout because of over feeding so I would drain the res and use fresh clean and properly ph'd water with no nutrients at all for at least 2 weeks and if they have perked up you can start back up with a very low ppm light feeding for a couple weeks and than get back up to the normal levels required for your girls.

You can grow a plant all the way to the end in an areo cloner, however the res has to be big enough to hold enough water to stay cool, other wise the temp will raise and root rot will set in, throwing off the PH and killing the plant. Not sure how much heat is building up in that little area, but if I had to guess this is your issue

There is way too much going on here to even guess as to what is wrong
