This feels like the way he's going to have to play to fit. He needs to attack every gap.

There was a Bam Giannis pick and roll where zero defenders stayed with Bam. So either he needs to actually be a legit pick and pop shooting threat (to be seen if he can do it) or he needs to attack gaps and draw fouls.

The Bam Giannis pick and roll will feed families

Iron sharpens Iron. He's playing with Giannis, they're facing off in practice everyday

it's funny to think about how them being teammates now means that they're going to guard each other more than ever

That’s why him saying “well assault the rims excited me” less midrange more attack attack and him and Giannis feasting inside with some 3’s mixed in

Yeah he needs to go to the rim not settle for dotted line jumper. But what annoys me is a lot of times he tries to finesse it with a floater. I want him to go for more layup animations with contact on some of these clips.

Agreed with the power aspect but as long as he’s getting fouled and getting FT I’m fine with the current approach. He’s rough a 78-80% FT shooter so I’ll take that

I wonder who Spo will do the to man game between Bam and Giannis.

Because whenever either will drive, they’ll collapse the paint, but that would also take away the pass to the other.

So, does one set soft picks and drives to the dunker spot or does he trail to the wing to create a back pass with a cleaned out paint with two shooting options on either side?

Basically overloading the strong side.

The no two man scheme of Spo confuses me quite a bit because it makes very hard to anticipate the normal progression of the offense.

You can still recognize different plays, but it always feels like you skipped a step or two.

Giannis can sit dunker spot or spot up if a pass comes to him he’s driving off the catch which should make his job easy. Bam can do the same like we see in this clip

I’m just trying to figure out how that plays out without a PnR or DHO.

It kinda messes with my head.

He’s learning from one of the best downhill attackers…

Bam just needs to quit this floater shit he does. Go up strong, he will never have the touch necessary to do this constant floater business. For god's sake the mans layup package in 2k is a floater and I can't say they are wrong.

Floaters in general are the next part of basketball to be phased out purely based on the math

I used to pray for times like this

This is fire! This is the Bam I like to see! Saw improvements in his driving game from the 2nd half of last season.

Bam unleashed this season.

I love that the opponents best F/C defender will be on Giannis, and Bam can feast. Last year Scottie and CMB are on Bam, and he’s trying to go right at those guys. This year he gets Poetl and gets to play off of Giannis. Bam’s efficiency is going to skyrocket.

Wait what the fuck, Bam last couple of years was not moving like that
