He’s simply saying there are so many RPGs where you are “THE” Chosen one. Obviously Henry in KCD1 gets overpowered if you play him right but he’s not like “THE” chosen one who’s supposed to save the world or whatever. He also says there’s nothing wrong or bad about a good power fantasy but just that there’s a lot of them.

That's not the problem with his statement.

The problem is that he calls it "games for teenagers", which is demeaning and idiotic. It's a stupid statement. It truly is.

I mean I personally believe a lot of these kinds of games are marketed towards teenagers. Sure games are for every age but if it’s not an M rated game it’s probably marketed for a large audience which includes teens and kids. That’s not saying they aren’t fun and can’t have good stories though. I enjoy a good chosen one adventure but I can also pretty much tell how the story is going to go because it’s not usually that deep.

Marketing something to a wide audience is not at all the same thing as saying "they are games for teenagers".

Saying "they are games for teenagers" is demeaning to the adults who enjoy the games. It's a stupid comment. It is deliberately insulting.

A mature adult is capable of understanding who the target demographic for a product is and is still able to enjoy the product. A mature adult would certainly not be insulted by the knowledge of who the target demographic is.

Once again, "teenagers" are not the target demographic for these games. These games are not purely marketed to teenagers. They are deliberately designed to appeal to a wide range of people.

Additionally, the way that he said it was deliberately demeaning. He is attempting to look down on the games and the people who play them. It isn't subtle. It isn't accidental. It is deliberate.
