I made a throwaway account specifically to ask this. I'm also not sure if this is worthy of its own post or if this is even the appropriate community for this type of question but I am honestly at my wits end... I have had an Omen PC for a few years now (probably pre-Covid) and have been seeing the infamous "BIOS update" request/bug whenever opening COD. My BIOS is up to date, all drives are up to date, and I already tried most solutions that have been listed online without anyyy success. I reset BIOS, UEFI is enabled, settings are all correct,. With this, I cannot turn my Secure Boot on because the setting is still greyed out - and there doesn't seem to be anything I can do to solve this issue. If I'm not allowed to ask this or am in the wrong place, I would appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction!! (Tried to compress info for the sake of time. I know that PC specs, etc. might play a role in this, but did not think it would be entirely crucial to share all of that yet!)
Thank u in advance, and apologies in advance if needed lol xo

What do casuals hate about fighting games and why do they drop off so hard?

There isn't much room to be a casual enjoyer over an extended time. So they often die when the casuals stop playing. Once you play a fighting game for long enough you stop being casual. You learn the combos and learn when to do them at the exact right times. Smash bros stays relevant because you can actually be a casual player in it. I play smash maybe once a year but I can have fun and play my characters well because it's much more simple

As a casual who enjoys the characters and story of fighting games I can say that I don't like learning the button combos. It just isn't something that sticks in my head and the difficulty curve for me seems to go from so easy its boring to this is fricking impossible way too quickly.
I've even watched fighting game tournaments and they were all like 14 of the same character doing the same combos in the same order and then 2 other people who get knocked out in round 1.

kind of a new member to this subreddit, I posted a post earlier today, and as of now, it's still "awaiting moderator review."
Did I make a mistake when I posted my thread, or is it just because I'm still new?

How could the Final Fantasy 7 remake project have been done differently?
