A true GTA alterative? Real simple, GTA V quality a with simplified story and all of the other minor crap gone. Cops versus robbers/gangsters, that's all.

I am looking for a game that's got a skill tree and loot rarities like how Path of Exile/Diablo has, but is an open world survival game. I think Fallout76 may be the closest thing to what I'm looking for, but would like other suggestions. Any help?

Isn't it time to start lobbying for rights to sell digital games? It should be obvious that Playstation should be required to implement this.

Is it even worth keeping a series s? Not sure whether to just keep it on my shelf collecting dust or sell it. Only used it for halo but i can just play it on my steamdeck

Anything turn-based or easy to pause works best for me. Football Manager, Balatro, Slay the Spire, stuff like that. Online games are too risky when work can interrupt anytime.

For those working from home: what games do you play while you're working or just chilling with work running in the background?
It doesn't have to be a casual game like Farmville. Even something like Doom counts if that's what you like to play while taking a break or keeping an eye on work.

I usually play something like Yu gi oh, minecraft, or non online games that can be paused

Turn-based/pause-able games are great for this purpose imo. Backpack hero, loop hero, games like that.

Is anyone else considering not buying a PS6 because Sony is ending physical game discs in 2028?
For me, it has. I'm big on collecting and playing video games with physical game discs, so this announcement was the worst gaming news possible for me. It seems extremely likely that the PS6 will be completely digital.

Nope. I'll buy the console if it has games I want to play. I will waste zero energy worrying about online outrage cycles.Â

This. I haven't bought a physical game since I got my Switch in 2019. Prior to that, it was my ps4 in 2014. The vast majority of my purchases have been digital at deep discounts on PSN sales. Â
There will still be competitive pricing even in an all digital age, because if there isn't, people will flock to the place with the cheapest multi-platform titles. Â
I also don't get consoles at launch anymore. Usually wait 2 years to get the more stable models after launch consoles have problems. I'll base my purchase on available information at that time and weigh my options.
