Hey guys, which game should I play next?

I like fromsoft games. Havent played Elden ring night reign and that robot game.

Enjoyed playing Apex legends but havent played that in a year or so.

Enjoyed Blasphemous and just finished silksong.

Would Wukong be a good game for me? I like fromsoft games but I dont enjoy God of War. Maybe it was the annoying kid with the bow and arrow idk.

Thanks!

hi guys, i ahve 3 mice, MX Master, Corsair Dark Core, MX Vertical. Both the Master and the Corsair stutter while the Vertical works flawlessly over bluetooth, Corsair works great when plugged in. already tried the Intel Bluetooth thing and the problem persists...

can anyone help me solve this, gaming with the work mouse is not fun at all

I've played multiplayer games since like Fortnite S5 and I'm extremely trash at them especially when it comes to game sense and decision making. Mechanically I'm less trash but I absolutely can't say I'm good at it either.

I played LoL since 2020 and only got over ranked anxiety in 2022 when I started playing ranked, but only managed to get to gold just last year. And don't even talk about FPS and shooter games in general... Consistently at the bottom of the scoreboard

How can I improve at multiplayer games where I'm at a level good enough to begin mattering as a streamer? I really want to stream but I'm just too trash at multiplayer games

This sounds real stupid, but I used to love the shit out of Neopets growing up. Is there a videogame that captures similar vibes where you earn money, have pets and have all sorts of ways to make money, with ways to trade with others? With lots of random, charming, fairytail type shit?

It sounds like some kind of MMO would work but I also don't really want to play through long raids and storylines with other people. I also don't really want to actually play neopets itself.

Switch 2 vs steam deck OLED?

On paper the SD OLED is a win win. You can play an entire steam library with optimized settings, you can even play switch and maybe switch 2 games. But how far can that go? How long until Nintendo will make switch games unplayable on emulators ?

Because of that hypothetical worry I have I'm kids leaning into a switch 2 even though the fact I can play steam games on the go is really appealing to me. I am planning on building my own gaming pc in the future maybe even getting a ps5 so will the loss of a steam deck be that much ?

Hello,

I want to try to get into some MilSim Strategygames like Sea Power or global strategic. At best with some smaller scenarios to get into such games. I played CK2 and EU4, but wonder if there is a good one to get into a deeper military strategies in a modern scenario or maybe near future.

Can you recommend some good games?

Regards

Okey here the thing I remember seeing a video of a game that looked like Bloodborne demake but it wasn't Bloodborne demake, but it was with mission based gameplay, they throw you in a level and you need to complete the mission.

I saw it years ago so I don't remember the name or even what channel I saw

Im sort of new to gaming, the only consoles I have is a Switch and my brother’s old Xbox 360. I like playing my games on the tv most of the time, if I had a pc I’d probably wanna use a regular controller to play.

I’m trying to decide what would be a good console for me and one that I can afford. An example of a game that I want to play is The Quarry, on my switch I have stardew, Zelda, mortal kombat, Skyrim, unpacking, West of loathing. My favorite game on the Xbox was Bioshock infinite.

Considering saving up for a steam deck? Or maybe getting a PC computer, my brother has extra parts but still needs a case, power supply and a graphics card. I have a monitor, and my partner might have power supply and a case for me but I heard that the graphics card is the most expensive part, I do not want to spend over $800 if possible. I’ve been looking on offer up for some PCs and it’s more like 600- 800 bucks for those but idk if it’s worth it.

When i have a 360hz monitor and a pc that can push my frames to 140 without drops. Should i lock my monitor hz to 140? Use 360hz mode and amd free sync or use in game frame gen?

I think there should be more games with noses in, why is the nose one of the least represented senses in the gaming community? e.g. when was the last time you saw a nose based peripheral or accessory for a major console???

1

u/TheRealDotFizz Nov 13 '25

Does anyone else feel like MMORPGs have taken a real nose-dive? Whenever I look online for a good MMORPG, it's always the same age-old options: WoW, Runescape, Guild Wars, BDO, ESO, Neverwinter, LotR, Star Wars, or New World (RIP).

I'm looking for an MMORPG to really sink my teeth in - one that is similar to ESO, New World, Runescape and/or WoW. Those seem to be the ones i tend to return to at least every couple of months because the visuals are nice, the combat systems are good, and the sense of progression really feels rewarding. Let me know!

1

u/saothebest Nov 13 '25

I've never really owned a Nintendo console before, but I want to play games on a portable basis. I'm thinking of getting Switch 2 (to play both Switch 1 & 2 games) or get a pre-owned 3DS. Most probs I'll be playing Pokemon games, but there's some other games (not much) that I'm interested in.

Which console should I get? Or should I even bother investing in a Nintendo console? Currently most of my games are on Steam or PS4.

1

u/ladyroselier Nov 12 '25

This is so silly, I want a game where I can breed and raise little creatures or animals and map out like a family tree for them and their traits evolve over time. Does that kind of game exist? Does anyone have any ideas?

u/Brilliant-Stuff17 Nov 12 '25

How much karma is needed to post?

2

u/Sephiroth2023 Nov 12 '25

I have the same question

1

u/TheBigShrimp Nov 11 '25

Good games for my friends for the winter where we can start a save/world and progress? Prefer casual/chill. Not Minecraft preferably.

Like Stardew Valkey basically, but something different.

2

u/BactaBobomb Nov 11 '25

I've been getting a hankering to play stuff like Smash TV and Robotron 2084, but it seems like modern consoles don't have a way to play them. Am I missing something? Are there any compilations that feature those games?

2

u/Specialist_Repair837 Nov 10 '25

whats the difference between scooby doo classic creep capers version 1 vs 1.1?

1

u/Dreaming_Dreams Nov 13 '25

1.0 is the release state of the game

1.1 was a revised copy that just fixed bugs and other stuff

no real reason to download 1.0 unless you’re a speed runner and use glitches that are only in the 1.0 version

yup but each part is pretty chunky like 50+ hrs

1

u/Exciting_Task_281 Nov 09 '25

What happened to dellor

2

u/ThisIsNotAFarm Nov 07 '25

ARC Raiders is basically a rip-off of "Cleopatra 2525" from 2000.

1

u/rhymes_with_candy Nov 08 '25

The hero wakes up 530 years in the future because of a botched boob job?

1

u/Reddit-Bot-61852023 Nov 07 '25

I refunded arc raiders but I want a game like it with pvp and some sense of urgency due to potential loss. First person pvp always preferred over 3rd.

Not tarkov, tho, way too janky and convoluted with 2193939 ammos types.

3

u/SnooTigers795 Nov 10 '25

Hunt Showdown fits that description, pvpve with great gunplay

1

u/enters_and_leaves Nov 07 '25

Anyone have advice on a good console for young kids that also does first person shooter games?

1

u/Zeoinx Nov 09 '25

Sega Genesis has Zero Tolerance

1

u/infinitay_ Nov 04 '25

Does anyone know whether or not Call of Duty patched the RCE exploits that was brought to light about a few months ago? My friend and I wanted to play MW2 on PC, but I remembered reading about the exploit, but I can't find any news of it being patched officially versus he-said-she-said.

WB Games closed Monolith, they then went to EA and founded Cliffhanger Games. EA closed Cliffhanger Games too.

Is it know where are they now? EA said they would position them in other Projects in the company. Is it known where?

1

u/SquashPuzzleheaded50 Oct 30 '25

Xbox series X serves my purposes just fine, but the company is obviously killing itself. Should I switch to ps5, or wait out to ps6?

1

u/121jigawatts Nov 03 '25

if you can find a ps5 for cheap yes, if not no

1

u/princesidon4myheart Oct 29 '25

Are there any modern FPS games that allow both inverted X-axis and inverted Y-axis on a controller? Ideally on Xbox GamePass. Thank you.

2

u/ElevatorNegative8625 Oct 28 '25

Are there any funny vr games on iphone?

1

u/Papaladin Oct 28 '25

Where’s the most appropriate place / sub / thread to trying to define what gaming « platform » (device ?) I should target, if the games I have in mind are mostly stuff from 2000-2012 ish period (older Bethesda titles, age of empire 2,3,hd, maybe some older gta, older fables, maybe the first borderland.. that kind of titles)

1

u/Zeoinx Nov 09 '25

PC or Steam Deck :P

1

u/Gravijas Oct 28 '25

I finished Clair Obscur 33 yesterday and it left me absolutely amazed.

I loved the Story, the Music and the characters. Everything felt so immersive, so well thought out. Also turn based rpg are still my favs, I grew up on those :D

does anyone know of games that are made with the same amount of love this game has?

most triple A games feel soulless compared to CO33

1

u/DBDSaki Oct 27 '25

I want to keep my voice more quiet while gaming at night while gaming if i get open ear headphones will i be able to hear myself better and if possible any recommendations for headsets. I use PS5

1

u/MMB- Oct 28 '25

Can't vouch for open ears (haven't used a pair).

My TB Stealth 500s have a function that captures my mic input and feeds it back to the audio out. There's a dedicated volume dial to adjust how much/little you want it.

If the goal is to hear yourself, maybe try looking into pairs with this function.

What causes this weird effect with specular highlighting

Image is from Devils Share

I know Devils Share is a old indie game (which has been removed from Steam), but I have seen this is newer games too... it's just that when I saw it in Devils Share I remembered to take a screenshot!

It's super white and pixelly... is it because the lightmap resolution is low or is it a problem with transparency or is a Unity/Unreal specific issue or what?

2

u/flyingthroughell Oct 24 '25

why is Nintendo destroying its reputation by targeting non profit fan games/small devs with similar games/price hikes/patenting game mechanics? I just don't get it. The company is doing well. The switch 2 is selling well. why ruin your reputation for non nintendo fans that might purchase a nintendo product in the future? just a bad business decision and it doesn't make sense.

2

u/dcmze PC Oct 24 '25

It is weird, right. But from the very early days they were super aggressive with anything related.

2

u/HandleWithCareRE Oct 23 '25

Is there anyway to turn off the touchpad on PS5? I've had issues for a long time with games like dark souls or ghost of Tsushima of accidentally bowing in the middle of combat because I have what I can only describe as wandering fingers.

What is the easiest way for me to play the least buggy version of The Force Unleashed (1&2) today?

As in the closest to “insert disk, pick up controller, play an unbroken game” that I can accomplish with a PC or PS5.

u/Agitated-Honeydew-41 Oct 22 '25

I’m looking for the best/easiest way to play PS1 games. So far I’ve read that would be an emulator? I kinda like the idea of a controller and tv though still? My fave games were crash bandicoot (all of them), rayman, spyro, Toy Story, Tarzan, Hercules, 102 dalmatians etc etc you get the idea! TIA

2

u/SnooTigers795 Nov 10 '25

I recommend DuckStation to emulate ps1 games

3

u/MMB- Oct 23 '25

PS+ Classics catalog would be the easiest. You just pay and get access. Use your PS4/5 as is. Library is subject to Sony's whim. It's still emulating, but... 100% legally. Can't vouch for performance, haven't tried.

Emulators tread the realm of piracy. The power of Rule 3 compels me to stop you.

1

u/Few-Independence3787 Oct 22 '25

Is it worth it to play any of Black Ops 4-7? I played the first three games and I'm mainly a fan of Zombies mode.

2

u/jamezzzzzzzzzzzzzzuh Oct 23 '25

if you're just mainly in it for zombies, there is some fun to be had throughout the franchise. Given I think WaW-BO3 was peak. If you're able to play them for relatively cheap I don't see why not. There's Easter eggs to be done in all the games, so it's a bit more than just run around and kill zombies (unless that's what you prefer).

[BO3 on PC also has some fun custom maps]

I’m looking for a new controller for my ps5 because the DualSense gives me wrist pains (left wrist). I have big hands and I’m used to Xbox-style (offset sticks)and I don’t get any pain with my Flydigi Vader 4 on PC, so I think it’s the DualSense shape/size causing it.

I’m deciding between the Nacon Revolution 5 and the Victrix Pro Reloaded, leaning toward the Nacon. I’ve seen some older videos saying the Nacon has slower wireless response than the DualSense.

Is that still a problem today? Is it noticeable in FPS or racing games? Any recommendations?

Thanks!

Looking for a desk that can work for both sitting and standing. Any suggestions?

1

u/Deep_Language5532 Oct 10 '25

Which are the viral Game as of today's, like Gamers will play it lot, soon...

2

u/therealleotrotsky Oct 08 '25

So my kid wants a gaming platform. She’s 17. I haven’t owned a dedicated console since my Game Gear.  What should I get?  I’m interested in Baldur’s Gate since I play D&D.  Should I get a PC instead? If so, how do I build it?  Thanks!

5

u/MMB- Oct 09 '25

PC will be more versatile in terms of capability, but it'll be a chore if you choose to build. You can turn that into a bonding activity should you both be interested.

PS5 is simpler, and runs BG3 among other games.

I’m a huge fan of the Battlefield playstyle/gameplay. I played the beta, but I refuse to willingly give my money to Saudi Arabia. What games are closet/might scratch the itch?

1

u/Firvulag Oct 09 '25

but I refuse to willingly give my money to Saudi Arabia.

Most of it will go to Sweden. The Saudi Arabia deal will not be finalized for years.

I am looking for a city builder game, 1st person with npcs that have back stories. I really like the style of Fallout 4, just want more options. I know I can mod it but I have played that game for 2k hours and I want something new but similar. Any suggestions?

2

u/januarytwentysecond Oct 08 '25

Much older: Dark Cloud for PS2. Dungeon delve to retrieve towns, folk and their houses and couches and dogs, talk to them to figure out if they want to live by the river or far from the windmill. Also, fuse swords and save the world. But mostly, reassemble the town.

1

u/Montanagreg Oct 08 '25

Thanks. I played Dark Cloud 1 and 2 back in the day and loved them.

u/dyhall9696 Oct 05 '25

What's this Sub's thoughts regarding All-In-One Gamelab Console – Game Lab ? I've been getting ads for them on YouTube and am curious as to if they're a scam or not.

1

u/throwaway234f32423df Nov 13 '25

well the games are 100% pirated so that may be a deal breaker for some

as with any other emulator shovelware situation, results may vary

what you linked to appears to be a rebranded R36s, which is a fairly popular system for what it is, but if you want a R36s, you might be better off buying one directly, although I'm hearing that counterfeits are common, I have no idea if what you linked to would get you a real R36s or a counterfeit

What's the best King of Fighters game
