Almost always a Gen X or older...

Especially during the period when Googlemaps ask you to leave a review base on it's tracking of your location. Then you get idiots leaving reviews like that...

Google Maps still does that and I am tempted leaving reviews for it. "You asked directions for this place, leave a review!!" Google, you know I didn't go. You have my timeline. Why??!?

It still does???

I must have changed a setting somewhere, as I still allow it to track my location, but those notification and review prompting stopped around 5 years ago... 🤔

Yep. I was in Austria and was considering visiting Donaupark so I asked for directions, but we got too tired so we never did. It nagged me for a month or more to review Donaupark.

I do review now and then but seriously...

This is the same kind of people who answer amazon user questions with "I don't know, I don't own that"

The worst kind of people. I get reviews like this once a year. I would have 4.9 stars, but the dipshit reviews drag it down to 4.7 and I can’t remove them.

You can have reviews like that removed.  They have never been to or interacted with the business. Just some guy with nothing better to do at 2am.

Harder than you imagine. One of our businesses someone posted pictures 8 years ago of an unrelated thing. I took over this year for the business after my grandfather passed. He ran it very old school style no digital. I’ve been asking for months now to remove those photos and nothing.

Imagine having to go through the hoops to have this removed just because someone was bored enough to type this.

Imagine you're born in the era where telephones are new, and you get a phone call that says "what do you think about the new ice cream store that just opened up downtown?" Apparently you're supposed to hang up if you haven't been there, but you don't really understand the tech, you just answer the question, because someone asked and you think you're being polite by answering.
