It was expensive ASF last year. I'm sure it's gone up again. Chocolate is outrageously expensive now. Even basic, middle of the road chocolate like this.

I used to get all kinds of trick or treaters until 2019 or so? So many that I would often have to go back to the grocery store to buy more candy before Halloween night was over. Then all these damn churches started having Trunk or Treat night on Halloween. They used to do that prior to the 31st, and then they started doing it on the day. Christians just aren't happy unless they ruin everything are they?

A normal store bag of miniature candy bars is like 6-7 bucks now. If you want something like Lindt or Ferro Rocher quality good luck.

Must be different where you live because where I am an assorted bag of regular fun size candies like Reese’s, hersheys, snickers, Milky Way, was on sale for $18.99 at my local grocery store, by no means fancy chocolate brands
