Tech Help What buttons?

Post image

I was able to snag this chunky tank for 100 dollars. I hear a lot of people to switch out the base buttons, but I am unsure of what brand is the best.

Start with the stock Sanwas, they are already competition-grade.

The Sanwas are fine.

I just switched to Qanba Gravity KS because they are quieter, and they were also available in purple (I have the white one). It helps a bit to make it more silent, but it's still not perfect. In the end, it comes down to personal preference.

My brand lol.

  • Depth-adjustable like Gravity KTs. But hotswappable, which KTs are not.
  • Can use any cherry MX-compatible switches and the caps don't just fly off randomly.
  • Progressive tactility - the harder you hit it, the faster it pops back up.
  • Silent and smooth. Lubed switches, caps and housing.
  • Thirty-two dollars American. And when these are gone, I'm (probably) not making more.

Sitong wizards as my favorite.

But you should put 80-100 hours on the sanwas before swapping out so you can form a decent opinion.

if it were up to me, gamerfingers all the way but they're hard to find in the colors you want so......Gravity KS or KT are 2nd best IMO

The stock sanwa buttons are perfectly fine. Play with them for a while until you develop an opinion on them. Then you'll have an idea for what you want from your next set of buttons.

"Best" is subjective to what you like and what game you're playing. If you want something with lower travel distance, some One Frame buttons or PunkWorkshop's Blaze buttons would work.
