I really like the ears. Don’t be afraid to really push those shadows, otherwise your drawing could look flat.

Very nice !
I spotted some issues however. I am guilty of that too and this is why I spot this issue :)
You run into a shape, you make "what is far" shaded and "what is near" lighter. It helps pulling the 3d shape quickly but it looks a bit synthetic/studio.
Consider your 3rd image where the the arm is horizontal.
An arm is like a flat cylinder.
It is tempting to shade the top and bottom (when horizontal) to give the feeling of depth and that the shape is "round". And it works.
The problem with that is that it ignores lighting. I guess this is ok if you planed for a studio lighting from the front. But if you plan on a more realistic situation, you'd probably want the light/sun up and to a side (you pick...).
You will still have some shading at the top and the bottom but way more at the bottom and the lighter skin will be towards the top.
Then you see this subtle (yet so present eveywhere) ligting at the bottom... this is the light reflecting from your floor, table, water, sand... it will bring light and also bring hue (which we can ignore here since you work only in values).
So if you just want to "round" the shapes, all good.
If you want to go further, you should pick where the light comes from, and make it coherent in the whole piece.
You added an undershadow below the hand, that makes sense.
But there is none below the entire arm on the belly. This confuses the brain.
I feel your light may come from up left due to the hand, but the shoulder on the right is bright, this does not add up, again unless studio lighting bringing light from various angles.
