question HANDS ARE FRUSTRATING ME!!
I’m getting back into drawing after about 4 years of not practicing. I’ve always been “artsy” but when it comes to hands, I’ll usually position the character to where the hands are hidden.. I normally practice anime and cartoons, but for the LIFE of me, I can’t get these stupid hands down for the last few days..
I’ve tried the loaf method, the mitten method, circles, lines, rectangles and squares, jelly beans, reference photos.. Watching YouTube videos, they’re all proportional. I understand practice and repetition and the key, but if you guys have any advice on what made it easier for you to understand dimensions, proportions, gestures.

question Tips for practice
Been having a hard time keeping interest in basically everything, so I've picked up drawing again. Haven't drawn in maybe 6 years+ but I used to quite a bit. Been having a lot of fun.
Basically, just wanting some tips on what really pushed you guys beyond in sketching, maybe some exercises I could pick up to help out, specific things to focus on that most newbies struggle with (I've already ben trying hands A LOT lmao(
Images are what I've been doing so far.
I've been pretty fast and loose, trying not to stick to one thing too long and moving on to a different pose, angle, or just something fun if I get particularly stuck.
Biggest struggle so far has definitely pushing past the sketched shape stage where I generally get the shape down and going into detail. To be totallybhonest im just notnsure what to do after a certain point, im aware it's very unfinished, but for some reason I cant figure out how to get those details filled in.

digital Sketch
I've got a lot to do, but lately my body feels so heavy.. 🫠 If there's any activity that could motivate me, please recommend one.. Shall I try uploading a light figure sketch of the human body each day?

ink I found this drawing in an old notebook
I did it a while ago. I remember I’d originally intended it to be in black and white, but I got the background wrong and used green instead, so that’s how it stayed. What do you think?

graphite Superb Fairy-Wren
A few nights ago I couldn't sleep, so I started drawing and made this little bird.
I used an HB pencil and a B4.
There are a few mistakes but I hope you like it anyway.
.

seeking crit Advice?
Hey!
So, recently I started drawing this, and right now I'm wondering what could I draw as a background? Maby you have some cool ideas?
As you can see, I'm a begginer. Still learning about proper shading and getting three dimentions.
If you are confused about those weird black/white stripes - that's supposed to be light coming through the ribs (imagine there is something light- iluminating inside the skeleton). That was cool in concept, but well... You see the results.
If you have any advices I would love to hear them!
Thanks!
