Since i went to many SDCC before ( my last was 2024 ) and tried SDCC malaga this year , wanted to put my experince in case someone was wondering

Well first thing , you buy your ticket from ticket master

So no wait for a certian date or time ( unlike SDCC )

But they do have dates ! a date to activate the fan portal , a date to buy the artist meet , a date to reserve your seat in panels ( the hall M one )

So you need ticketmaster ( to get the ticket ) , Sched ( to get the fan portal ) and active fan portal ( to register for reservation and QR codes for artist meet / photo ) 

Hall M act like hall H in San diego , if you reserve you get piorty to enter , you still line up , and they have 3 blocks of panels , they clear between blocks ( sometimes its two panels per block , and sometimes 1 panel take the whole block like evining with kevin smith )

So first day come , the con open at 10 AM ... ( a very late time if you ask me )

The line to enter was long , it took from 10 am till 11 am to enter , i had to run to the line to hall M

( becauase i reserved a panel at 11:30 )

They had a small barrier close to the entery , but before that it was random , people lined up , some line were straight , some where crooked , and i saw some shouting at one point in the line ( basicly two line meet )

The freebies ( bag / pin …etc )  are disturbed outside ? why ? why not after the you enter and the bag check ? ( yes there a bag check )

A postive and negative thing is that not everything is under one roof , they have a building with

Exhitbitor hall , and a building ( temopray ) with exhitbitor garden , the same temoprary building ( a huge tent with Air cooling ) has seperate artits alley

Artits alley has great space , and space for line that don’t block traffic ( yes some artist had lines with over 30+ people in them )

Panel wise there is not enough panels as in not many concurrent panels ( if you check the shed you would see that ) , so if that topic / speaker isn't something you like , good luck ( also since its like 1 panel the line for it is long )

But a postive , i Went to couple of spanish panels , they had translation ! **

( you need an app for that )

If you are in for exclusive ( not my cup of tea ) , there were not any i saw

The worst part of my experince at SDCC malaga was the sun , because all places are seperate , you need to walk around for them , not to mention when you line up for hall M or signature , most line are out in the sun , becuase the shaded line isn't open till its time

Something i did not like , is them playing Songs on speakers outside around seating area lines for hall M and artist meet ... like why ?  

They also had dominos as a sponcer , and they were selling pizza , as well some foot trucks inside

The food trucks were at the edge of semi shaded area with some tables chair , but an artifical grass turf , which you could just sit on

And there isn't any resturant close to the Trade Fair and Congress Center of Malaga , so you are stuck with the food there or bring your own

Taxi  / Uber is horribdius , there is a didicated spot for taxis and when i used it , i would wait there for 15+ minute ( even if no one is front of me for taxi )
And they put Uber/ bolt pickup spot at the other side of the ground ( away from the exit ) ( and for some reason wait time for Uber / bolt in malaga is around 10-15 minutes when close to SDCC malaga )  

Would i go back ? mostly yes , not top of my priority , but at least artist are easier to find here

I’ve been looking on the official website and everything, and I cannot find them on any guest appearance or anywhere in the comic con, but on his own social media page and even comicon announced it that he was gonna be there what happened? I need to get something signed by him.

I’m going to the upcoming comic con in London this October which is arguably my first ever proper one (I’ve been to MCM before in Bham but was very young).
I’m a huge Daredevil fan and decided to get an autograph from Charlie Cox on Saturday, and on the next day an autograph + photo op with Wilson Bethel. This will be my first time meeting guests at a con and it’s very daunting only knowing vaguely what to expect. I’m quite socially awkward too so it’s like, what do I even say? I know they’re both lovely guys but MCM gives me the vibe of being very fast-paced and rushy (especially on a Saturday for Charlie Cox, yikes!) which does scare me a bit.
Any advice would be appreciated! What to expect with the whole experience, what I should expect at the actual table, what I should say/converse (and how that all works), plus what photo ops are like, etc.

i quickly found that the wig i bought was too small and that i shouldve been looking for larger ones but i think it still works.

made the staff myself, had some technical difficulties at the con but luckily the cosplay medics were there

Will I be able to find comics/omnibuses that are sold out everywhere online and in stores? And if so will they be available anywhere in the con for retail or will they basically be expensive as they normally would be on websites such as eBay?

This is my first time going to NYCC and I know that something has to be brought for autographs for main guests but the guests that are at booths that have “open signing” it doesn’t specify if something is to be brought or I buy an autograph at the booth. This will be my first time ever seeing any kind of celebrity and I am not sure how to approach the situation.

Hi everyone! I attended Toronto Comicon in 2026, and I purchased a creepypasta Ticci Toby keychain from someone in the artists alley. Unfortunately, i recently went on vacation and had said keychain on my cane, and it went missing. It was my favourite and I’m hoping to be able to find the artist again! I’ve tried searching but nothing has turned up so far.

It was an acrylic/epoxy keychain with an orange metal clip on top. Any help would be appreciated!!

I absolutely have no clue how to navigate, comic con it is my first time and im taking my preteen sibling as well. Please guide me on how to navigate the convention. What’s the deal with panels and autographs like do you have to do reservations ahead of time ?they’re into anime , honestly I am just clueless please help.

Hey everyone, this might be a long shot but I booked a stay in Jersey through booking.com for October 9th to October 12th but im not able to make it anymore due to medical reasons. Would anyone be willing to take up the reservation (ill put it on your name) or suggest what would be the best way to go about this?

Im not getting any response from the property and booking.com cannot do anything. Ill end up paying the whole price if I cancel.

The stay is $371 USD for all 3 days, willing to let it go for slightly less. I would also appreciate any other suggestions!

Big Texas Comicon

After reading some experiences, I was wondering if showing up 2 hours early would be sufficient to get a decent spot in line for a matthew lillard autograph?

I know that Illinois Comic Con is pretty new and small(no, I’m not talking about C2E2), but has anyone here been to one before. I see they have a bunch of guests lined up that are relatively small (compared to SDCC or C2E2). But does anyone know if comic artists and writers go there? They only have a list of their “big names” and no other real event info and I wanted to know if it was worth Schlepping all the way to Peoria for.

I’m from Sweden and thinking of going to Copenhagen for Comic Con, probably Saturday or Sunday. I’m a big Harry Potter fan and would love to find someone who’s also into that kind of stuff and wants to walk around together, check out guests, shops etc. 😊

Hi everyone! I'm in a music ensemble (flute, oboe, clarinet, French horn, and bassoon) and we will be performing at a comiccon soon! We currently have a set list to perform from but would love to hear some suggestions! So far we have selections from Studio Ghibli, Star Wars, Stardew, and Nintendo.

We will have a setup where comiccon guests can select a song on an iPad and it notifies us what to play next! Super excited for it and would love to hear your thoughts!!

Hey! Is anyone here planning to go to the Comic-Con at the LA Convention Center on October 30th?
I’m planning to go in cosplay (Lucy from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners,and I’d love to find some people to go with / meet up with while I’m there!
Also, are there any photographers going who are interested in doing a cosplay shoot? I’d really like to get some good photos and possibly a short video while I’m in costume. I’m totally open to discussing rates if you’re a photographer who charges for shoots.

I havent been to the LA comic con in a few years so I havent had the app but I downloaded it today and its dated for last year? I checked and its up to date so when will it be current to this year? Any idea?
