Software Battle Tech Crescent Hawk Inception download?
hello!
I am getting the C64U for my son on his 8th birthday next week :).
One of the games I'd like to play with him is Battle tech: Crescent Hawk Inception. We could geek out about the story, mechs, I was thinking of finding a technical readout book top (he's an avid reader). It's a game that allowed my imagination to roam when I was a kid (albeit on a PC - This will be my first c64 too!!)
My search skills are failing me though, and I don't yet know all the nooks and crannies of the C64 interwebs βΊοΈ. any suggestions on where and how I can purchase or download the game?
Many thx!
EDIT/UPDATE:
* Thanks all for your response; I found couple of versions available on those sites :)
* Playing via VICE (C64U is being unraveled next week!), entering/exiting buildings was super slow; further Googling found a "Multiload64" zip pack which had an "EasyFlash" version, which today I've learned is a conversion from diskette to a cartridge, with much faster loading. Assuming the version is good and doesn't cause us grief weeks from now, I'm super excited ππ

internet archive site has it where you can play it in your browserΒ ;)
it uses a dual disk setup, game disk, and player save disk. so you need to swap disks at some spots of the game.
and it seems to use the keyboard for controls.Β
So check the manual.

Are you sure you're getting this for your son?

Haha, fair!
It's *his* Birthday Present next week, but absolutely *I* am the one already nerding out about it π
Let's call it a "Father/Son" present/thing ππ

As soon as I got my Amiga working, I played the same game. Finding the cash store in the save file is very easy, in case you want to cheat a little.

That'd be interesting!
I knew how to hex edit with PC tools on my 286 back in the day, no clue how to do it on c64 yet :).

Oh wow... and d'oh! I assumed myabandonware only hosted PC games - silly of me in retrospect!
