Nice of the Dodgers to do a bullpen game with us

Is it just me, or are bullpen games working really well this post season? Sox just did it yesterday and Braves are doing it today against Snell

25

u/TheGeneral_Specific Atlanta Braves 1h ago

Teams with good bullpens are more likely to make the playoffs, more at 11

7

u/Blaine1111 Atlanta Braves 1h ago

Didn't work for us yesterday but we are just genuinely out of pitchers rn so we have no choice

5

u/CaptJohnsFishMarket Atlanta Braves 1h ago

They always work well in the early rounds as teams with good bullpens can burn all their great arms to win short series. Hard to keep that up for a whole month though

I can understand how frustrated Bubic was, but that was some of the most pathetic body language I’ve seen.

Dude looked so defeated and just gave up the run for free.

I haven’t watched a ton of dodgers this year, but that guy doesn’t see a leverage AB the rest of the playoffs if I’m Roberts.

u/itsnotyellowfever Los Angeles Dodgers 3h ago

He looked like it was his first time experiencing a ball hit Teoscar's way go the way of the opposing team to such a degree and then he resigned himself to his fate as if there wasn't a runner at third because he didn't think he deserved to have a runner at third

u/tvcneverdie Atlanta Braves 1h ago

Read his lips saying "Fuuuuuck me" and knew that Harris run was coming home lol

Watching Teoscar Hernandez at the plate :)

Watching Teoscar Hernandez during any defensive moment :(

u/doublegoldendragon Los Angeles Dodgers 3h ago

If Teo plays that better, it's probably just a double and we're still tied

u/Tds142 Toronto Blue Jays 3h ago

“If Teo wasn’t Teo, it’s probably just a double and we’re still tied”

Made me snort laugh at this one

u/OSRS_Socks Atlanta Braves 3h ago

If Bubic needs to cover home as well. Just bad defense from the dodgers in that inning. It would have been a bang-bang play at home

8

u/ih-unh-unh Los Angeles Dodgers 3h ago

Bubic should have but Harris beats it somewhat easily I think

14

u/OSRS_Socks Atlanta Braves 3h ago edited 2h ago

He stopped running once Bubic stopped breaking. I think it would have been close at the plate.

27

u/phantom_pioneer Los Angeles Dodgers 3h ago

Genuinely don’t understand how someone can be this bad at simple fielding. Not asking him to be Jesus out there just don’t be fucking stupid

9

u/PatchesTheGreat1 Toronto Blue Jays 2h ago

You really don’t want Jesus out there

2

u/CylindricalDent4133 Los Angeles Dodgers 3h ago

It’s always the slowest outfielders trying to Kobe an uncatchable ball and leading to triples for hitters.

Teo giveth.
Teo taketh.
This is the Way.

God Harris is so annoying to face. Dude's got unreal speed, can field and decepitevely tremendous power. Can't wait til Atlanta is free of him.

Signed until 2051, so keep waiting

29

u/TheReal-MrSully617 Atlanta Braves 3h ago

You’ll be waiting until 2032

15

u/jwwin Atlanta Braves 3h ago

We’ve got him signed through 2039, so good luck.

33

u/RousingRabble Atlanta Braves 3h ago

Under contract through 2030 with a club option for 2031.

31

u/Kindly-Explorer1875 3h ago

I love how 3 different Braves fans gave 3 different answers on the contract length

3

u/RousingRabble Atlanta Braves 2h ago

I trusted spotrac. Lol

4

u/tvcneverdie Atlanta Braves 1h ago

1% of that contract to the Atlanta Braves Foundation

15

u/OSRS_Socks Atlanta Braves 3h ago

You know Harris is hot when his hits are to left field

13

u/PvtSherlockObvious Atlanta Braves • San Francis… 3h ago

His big weakness has always been his plate control and chase rate, but if he can do like he did there and keep fouling them off until he gets one he likes, that's a whole other story.

3

u/The_Pudge Atlanta Braves 1h ago

Dude bats like someone playing Road to the Show.

13

u/subusta Atlanta Braves 2h ago

He has a life sentence with Atlanta so

10

u/dare_films 2h ago

5

Signed until 2036 sorry bud

10

u/Helpmepullupmypants 3h ago

Dude got a stand up triple… to left field…. And was jogging on the last few steps to the base. Wtf kind of speed is that

5

u/MolestedMilkMan Los Angeles Dodgers 2h ago

It’s Teo type of speed

11

u/onlymostlydeadd Los Angeles Dodgers 3h ago

Fucking teo. At least one defensive misplay every game.

7

u/MattO2000 New York Yankees • Baseball Savant 2h ago

Pretty funny after the Wells triple attempt with 2 outs yesterday Harris (and Teo) stretch this into a triple with 2 outs and it’s the difference in the game

5

u/JackTwoGuns Atlanta Braves 3h ago

Pretty pretty good

5

u/ImNotASadist Oklahoma City Comets • Kansas City… 3h ago

Teo is the same Teo. He'll put you over the top in one game and bury you in the next.

3

u/Electrical_Yard_284 MLB Pride 3h ago

Between Téo's huge bomb yesterday, and this adventure in the outfield today, we are just one brilliant smile away from the complete Teoscar Hernandez experience, god love him.

3

u/levendis56 New York Yankees 2h ago

This is what Wells had in mind lol

3

u/mr_dumpsterfire San Diego Padres 2h ago

R/dodgers are big mad I’m sure.

Average Teo defense

2

u/Horse_MD Atlanta Braves 1h ago

and acuña can't muster anything faster than a trot to first base

3

u/Permission_Superb Atlanta Braves 50m ago

If I have to watch that knee of his buckle one more gd time I’m gonna lose it. I’m fine with him trotting tbh.
