Another Oktoberfest over and done! At least by the official dates. I got to try a huge swath of the locals this year and while there wasn't one in particular that really stood out I thought overall there was a great choice of Marzen/Fests.

Burial at BS yesterday was a nice treat too. I very very rarely drink IPAs but when I can get my hands on Surf Wax it's a nice day. Also I just love ordering their beers; "yes, can I have a The Impending Doom of the Crushing Weight of Predisposition Towards the Unyielding Dawn of Reality please?"

Anybody been to Hilton Head recently? Looks like a couple breweries have popped up or expanded since I was there last.

There are a few solid choices down there! Lincoln and South is my favorite. Side Hustle and Hilton Head Brewing are good too.

Thanks! Side Hustle has been open for a while but had weird hours the last time we were there, looks like they're open 7 days a week now and added a restaurant.
