OpenAI has terminated three safety-team researchers for allegedly disclosing confidential company information to an outside monitor, The Wall Street Journal reports, citing unnamed sources.
In a statement, OpenAI accused the staffers of violating policy and "breaking the trust essential to our work."
The ousters come as top AI researchers wield "extraordinary influence" internally, at the same time that companies face public pressure to increase safety measures following a series of hacks.
One LinkedIn member writes, "Having AI companies 'self-police' … may not be as effective as hoped."

Allegedly is a term they use so they can't be sued for saying it.....they also use it to protect sources. If they say it as a fact they can be sued and then have to prove it in court, which means exposing sources, which is death as far as being a journalist goes.
Also now you are saying you implied it is fake...but also got really upset when I said you implied it was fake? Pick a fucking lane my dude....

OpenAI fires whistleblowers. There needs to be jail time for Altman.
