Question / Հարց ordering stuff from aliexpress

hello, everyone. I'm so sorry if this is not the kind of question people ask here.

how do I properly order something from aliexpress to armenia? my friend just recently moved there and I want to buy them a gift. however, I'm not exactly sure how to do it. will they deliver the package to his door? or will they need to go to a nearby post office? will he need to show his id to receive the package from the post office? if this is important, the package is pretty small.

I suggest against buying from aliexpress when you can buy from taobao and ship to Armenia through one of the forwarding services.

Aliexpress does not deliver to Armenia. You’ll have to use a redirection service; Globbing and Onex are the most famous - I use Globbing and all good.
You’ll ship to one of their facilities and they will forward to your friend. Then, she has to pickup at the closest locker - she will pick one when she registers.

So, AliExpress does deliver to Armenia - just the prices/availability may differ plus the delivery is pricier most of the time. Yes, he'll need to go to the post office with a passport. I believe you can order through onex or globbing ordering from China address. You can also check ozon and wildberries marketplaces

I checked ozon but the prices were too high and the assortment was too limited, so i decided to stick with aliexpress. thanks for the reply, though

Really? “Armenia” doesn’t show in the countries list. Wish I could add a screenshot here but don’t seem to find it

Maybe you were not redirected from "international" version to "cis" version?

You should use AliExpress dot ru on web and cis Ali app

No, I can literally see all countries that aliexpress ships to. I use globing to order from them because sometimes I can’t find what I want at SHEIN. I also asked a few sellers but they said they don’t ship to Armenia.
This website you are using is not the official version, it’s a “fake website”, that’s why shipping varies; they ship somewhere and send to you, like dropshipping/globbing.
Officially, aliexpress does not ship to Armenia

The dot ru one is not fake, the Russian and cis operations of Ali are provided with Vkontakte - affiliated separate LLC, yes, it's jurudically different from global Ali but totally real
