wait what is defined as "bannable"/"removable" vibe code project?
since i remember this sub was pretty strict about the use of AI?
if i do not know much about code and the lower level parts of the code & i only heavily interact with the LLM to design the high-level parts like system/logic/requirements+bug testing, would that count as slop/bannable/removable project in this sub?

We did a massive rules update in the last 24 hours. Based on our experience trying to police LLM code and how utterly difficult doing so is, we have changed the rule to require disclosing the use of AI on all software submissions (Rule 9), and we have a catchall rule now that allows us to remove software projects that are low quality (Rule 8).

That's a super subjective sort of situation. The Admincraft staff team is comprised of current and former professional developers, network admins, systems engineers, etc. Our standard for quality is higher than the average vibe coder.

That said, we're mostly looking for signs that the software was made with care, that the dev understands where dangerous bugs may be, and that they out in the effort needed to make it reasonably safe to use. Those qualifications apply regardless of whether LLMs were used.

Always assume that one of us will do a code review of your project. If you're afraid it's too sloppy to pass, it probably is. But if you use it yourself, and you've been working on it, fixing bugs, and polishing it for a while, then it's probably fine to post.

We're planning on adding an AutoMod message in the next couple days to warn people to be careful about running code from unknown sources, as well. Ultimately, our goal isn't to shame new devs or devs that use AI. It's to prioritize Harm Reduction, as our community has a lot of newbies that just don't know what to look for to stay safe.

Hope this answers your questions. You're welcome to reply for further clarification, or you can always modmail us.

Where is my support for CraftEngine.

Is it that underground that nobody uses it at all? It's like 3 times more capable than these paid plugins and it is still free...

Oh i forgot ... Market :D

Benefit of it being mostly ai is i can add features fast, CraftEngine should be supported now although its been added with info from the wiki and not from a proper pack, if you have something and are willing to share to improve support for craftengine, feel free to dm me on discord: ProGamingDk
