Kate's subplot
When i started the show I thought Kate would have been more involved to the degree of Moz. But the way the show handled her character it didnt feel like she was anything more then a plot device that got brought up now and again after season 1. Did they just not know what to do with her or what?

mozzie is mistreated
i am currently on season 4 and i love mozzie. he's the clever guy with a funny conspiracy hat, and i think thats adorable. he had a stronger character and a more mysterious vibe in the earlier seasons like 1 and 2 but i think by season 4, theres no more mystery of his thats left, and i think thats fine too. his quotes, random ideas that are useless always make me laugh. BUT i also know that he's incredibly smart with the solutions he comes up with. so should the FBI by now. but it feels like anytime he opens his mouth, an FBI agent is there to ridicule him and shut him down. peter, jones, diana... none of them are as skillful when it comes to problem solving yet whenever mozzie tries to come up with a solution, his idea is always thrown away. same with his conspiracies.
i know that he plays a funny bald short and yet somehow smart typa archetype and that shows love to flesh out characters once theyre established and known by the watchers and thats fine too. i just dont like the reaction he gets from rest of the crew. i wanna kick their butts and say "HEY!!! he stole the uboat and had 5 BILLION at his possession and you couldn't find it for the life of you!!" i hate it. ugh. leaves a bad taste in my mouth. ugh.
i love mozzie and his mistreatment is so unsettling to me.

[SPOILERS] Question about the FBI ring
Spoiler note: This post includes spoilers for White Collar Season 1. If you haven’t finished it yet, you might want to hold off.
I’ve been rewatching White Collar and noticed something about the “man with the ring” storyline. In Episode 2, the “man with the ring” feels like big, mysterious clue. Then in Episode 8, they say it’s a 10-year FBI commemorative ring and not something agents really wear day to day. If that’s true, wouldn’t the ring showing up in that photo be a bigger deal? Or did I miss something?

Neal vs guns.
I’ve seen this show a millions times, but one thing I’ve never had an explanation for was Neal and his aversion to firearms. In the “Boiler Room” and the Elizabeth Kidnapping episode, Neal has shown to be an excellent shot; yet when asked “how?” his response was always “long story”. Can anyone explain or speculate why? Is there something explained that I missed?

Update from Tim on revival (new interview)
DeKay acknowledged the longtime talk of a “White Collar” reunion with co-stars Matt Bomer and Tiffani Thiessen (the series’ other key cast member, Willie Garson, died in 2021), saying it might be a film project rather than a series reboot. “Everybody is up for it.”

I finally realized something crucial about Neal’s ending (and why we NEED Sara back!)
P.S. I used a translator to write this, so please excuse any unnatural English. Lots of love from a Japanese White Collar fan!

Who are the people Mozzy has on his "Black List"? Personal Enemies?
r/whitecollar • u/TallAbbreviations937 • Aug 26 '26
Mozzie is the reason Neal gets away with half the stuff he does
Neal gets most of the credit for being the con artist, but Mozzie is the guy who makes a lot of Neal's plans possible in the first place. Neal can walk into a room and convince somebody he's whoever he needs to be. Mozzie is the guy who already found the room, the person, the address, the escape route, the fake paperwork, and probably has a backup plan Neal doesn't know about. It's also funny how often Neal acts like Mozzie is just his weird little sidekick when he's basically running an entire parallel operation behind the scenes.

[OT] Harry Anderson Collection on Letterman, 1982-87
I fully believe after watching the first 7:30 of this that either Jeff wrote Mozzie after seeing Harry Anderson as this character on either Letterman, or Cheers, or Willie took inspiration from it in his portrayal, but this is totally Mozzie.

What Neal’s commutation hearing went better? Kramer threatened to go through all his past crimes to pin something on him so he would never be free.

[SPOILERS] James Bennett
After James shoots Pratt and then is on the run. What does everyone think happened to him was he eventually caught?
Also what was everyone’s thoughts on James like before when they thought he was Sam, once he was revealed to be James, and then once he shot pratt?
Was he always a bad guy and was always planning to leave Neal or it happened?
Curious to see everyone’s thoughts thanks

How many years do you think Neal had the ankle monitor on? He supposed to do 4yrs, I know in season 3 he did 2yrs out of 4 but by season 6 I feel like he did more than 4yrs

Do you think Abigail is more sneaky and skillful than Neal/Mozzie? I'm still trying to understand how she broke into the Marshall building so quickly while Mozzie was looking for blueprints to break in

[SPOILERS] Watching again - Kramer
I’ve seen this show so many times I always watch once a year and I just absolutely can’t stand Kramer.
What’s funny is that Kramer thinks Neal would even come with him to DC like you want to trap him and take him to DC. The only way I see that even playing out is
Neal says no and chooses prison instead (they can’t force him to be a consultant)
Neal goes to DC only to run away cause he doesn’t wanna go back to prison but he also isn’t gonna work for Kramer.
Either way Kramer is a moron, what Peter said was so right that he doesn’t know how to handle him. Neal and Peter work because even though Peter is in charge he allows Neal his freedoms and they still share a friendship which is based on respect. Neal finds Peter challenges him but in ways he likes but it’s as Peter said “you cage him in and he’s gonna run.
Kramer is an idiot.
