Would one cable subscription cover all of them?

39

u/Odd_String1181 7h ago

Yes. I've watched every game on YouTubetv too.

Pretty sure most are over the air when on Fox and NBC. ALDS and ALCS are the only required subscriptions.

u/Knightbear49 6h ago

Some of them were on FS1 and peacock only

3

u/douchey_mcbaggins 5h ago

Tonight's games are FS1 games because of football

2

u/kashbuggy 5h ago

FS1 is on most cable packages and any Peacock game is also on NBC

Wild Card Round is NBC (Peacock), ALDS/ALCS are TBS (HBO Max), the NLDS/NLCS are FS1 (Fox One), and the World Series is free over the air on Fox (also Fox One). Just about any cable package has all those channels, and it's 3 streaming platforms. Not sure where OP is getting 6 subscriptions from

I believe so

I have all of the games available on Fubo. Not an advisement because it still blows that I need to pay so much a month.

I have Hulu live TV and don't have peacock. Wild card games weren't on the local NBC station or NBC Sports.

Edit: this might be the last straw, the only reason I got Hulu live was for local channels for sports.

Hockey is horrible as well.

u/RTRC 6h ago

Eh a VPN and ESPN+ will get you 80% of all games.

And that problem is franchise owners choosing to lock their games behind their own pay wall. Teams like the Lightning broadcast on local channels you can get with an antenna.

October is my favorite time to go sailing.

6

u/Ramreck 7h ago

I sail the seven seas year-round

1

u/LMGgp 6h ago

Only time I’m not on a voyage is during baseball because of the free MLBtv from T-Mobile.

7

u/BusyBandit10 5h ago

You only need 3 but if you have cable, you can watch them all with your cable subscription

5

u/Powerful-Chard-6055 7h ago

In NASCAR, we just use websites that I’m not entirely sure whether or not it’s legal. The one I use, and is the most used, had to be moved to a secondary site because the owner of the site got too cocky and tried streaming the World Cup

11

u/GuerillaRiot 7h ago

This is why I'll never feel bad for sailing the high seas

5

u/mrsir1987 3h ago

Weird I’m seeing them all with zero.

u/ShabbadooJr 7h ago

No you don't. It is at max, 3 subs. Peacock, HBO Max, and Fox One. And best, you get all of these games with a single YouTube TV subscription.

5

u/Odd_String1181 7h ago

The peacock games were on NBC and the hbomax games are just normal tbs/TNT national broadcasts that are also on hbomax if you happen to have that

3

u/Tr0z3rSnak3 7h ago

Most professional sports are going to similar subscription style, I think it's it's 4 or so for the NFL

6

u/JHBaltimore 7h ago

Just use an antenna to watch fox

2

u/jbourne0129 6h ago

Yeah playoffs is when I CAN watch games because they are in major networks. All on a free antenna

2

u/thesoccerone7 5h ago

AL isn't on antenna

7

u/koal82 7h ago

Psst 🏴‍☠️ = free

2

u/andhisnameisandrew 7h ago

try being a hockey fan

2

u/DoUThinkIGAF 5h ago

Guess I'll read about it online after the game!

1

u/BrockObama007 2h ago

I just watch all the highlights on the mlb YouTube channel

2

u/WillowYouIdiot 6h ago

Peacock and YouTubeTV and I have all of the games.

2

u/magikatdazoo 5h ago

Don't even need Peacock, YouTube TV had all the Wild Card Series. The graphic clearly shows only 3, yet OP spams nonsense 6 subscriptions required clickbait

1

u/WillowYouIdiot 2h ago

I just used Peacock because I'm on it regularly and have it free through another service.

2

u/xxboywizardxx 6h ago

You mean 3? Or an antennae plus HBO?

2

u/thesoccerone7 5h ago

I have HBO and I still can't watch it. You need to have the ad free version of HBO

2

u/Commercial-Height873 7h ago

What a joke. I’m not watching any of them

-1

u/froggycbl4 6h ago

its not a joke u can watch literally all of them on cable. streaming options are just different because they are on different channels

1

u/East-Silver-2201 7h ago

You can watch all of them on Hulu.

1

u/jkjkjk73 6h ago

IPTV !!

1

u/canadian-tabernacle 6h ago

I totally missed the C-Band days. Best I could do is doing semilegit websites

1

u/SeveranceVul 5h ago

And Hulu is raising their rates by 10 bucks next month. I'm out.

1

u/Gojirahawk 3h ago

All on Disney+ in Australia..

;)

1

u/greaveswalk 3h ago

find a good iptv provider. dont ask me for which one lol

1

u/SickboyJason 3h ago

u/DoctorFenix 2h ago

Welcome to the world NFL fans live in

1

u/lagartixas 7h ago

Yall are paying to watch baseball?

1

u/stinkdrink45 7h ago

I'm sorry but I've given up trying to keep up with sports. Everything around them is to expensive, and the economy taking a dump is not making it better.

1

u/seazonedsaltdog 6h ago

Theres sites to watch all sports games for free. Ive been using the same one for 5 or 6 years.

1

u/stinkdrink45 6h ago

We shouldn't have wto go through that

1

u/seazonedsaltdog 6h ago

No but its incredibly easy if you use the right site with a decent ad blocker.

1

u/Competitive-Elk-5077 7h ago

I like sports, but not enough to try to figure out how to watch a game. The more difficult they make it, the less I care

-4

u/froggycbl4 6h ago

if u cant plug in an antennae or go to ur cable guide u arent very smart

2

u/thesoccerone7 5h ago

How many people actually have cable though? ALDS and ALCS aren't available over antennae.

-2

u/froggycbl4 5h ago

if u cant figure out how to stream them illegally u also arent very smart

2

u/verivicious 5h ago

How would you do this? Asking for a friend

1

u/reddituser28910112 7h ago

I've been able to watch everything on YouTube TV

1

u/Temporary-Mention-29 6h ago

Antennas are cheap. I was able to pick up all my local channels (including NBC and Fox) with an antenna that costs $13.48, but I live pretty close to the broadcast towers for my media market, so your milage may vary. As for TBS? Get a VPN (I use Proton) and sail the seven seas, matey. As Gabe Newell once said, piracy isn't a pricing problem, it's a service problem, although here it's a little bit of both

u/MyNameIsZealous 7h ago

Debt by a thousand cuts.

-1

u/Deadmaker831 7h ago

You can see them all with zero subscriptions.

1

u/thesoccerone7 5h ago

Other than having cable, what is the option for the AL?

2

u/Deadmaker831 5h ago

1

u/thesoccerone7 5h ago

How risky are viruses? I've ventured into the high sees, but virtual scurvy worries me

2

u/SickboyJason 3h ago

If you Stream on the East its great with a premium sub. 👌 🏴‍☠️

Thetvapp.com

1

u/verivicious 5h ago

I think that gave my phone cancer

1

u/5th-Column 5h ago

I use it all the time for MLB. UFC, NFL and NHL

0

u/251Cane 7h ago

Sure but cable still exists and all but the ALDS and ALCS are free over the air

0

u/HobbitDowneyJr 7h ago

iptv service.

0

u/UCFknight2016 5h ago

Glad I am not a fan of baseball because that would suck. At least with football you can get away with not having the NFL package and still be able to catch a majority of games.

0

u/Flammzzrant 4h ago

Ive seen every game this post season on my regular old tv. If I want to stream them I can use my cables streaming service to watch them on cable channels.

I do think streaming is ruining sports tv but this post is not accurate for this post season

-3

u/BeavisEverywhere 7h ago

It's just baseball. No big loss.

-1

u/jbourne0129 6h ago

Get an antenna and watch all these for free.
