u/Oliwia_______ Sep 02 '26
Bacuase it's a stand dedicated to x brand
7
u/Shua89 29d ago
Shouldn't the stand be assembled in the desired location, then stocked? Surly is not transported to this store in that flimsy thing.
3
u/Miserable_Pin2518 25d ago
Yes, the brand rep most definitely set up the display in the correct place, but then the store wanted to move it and their manager is stupid lol

No great loss. Less poison for others to consume. Alcohol is the worst.
17
u/Ghuldarkar Aug 22 '26
A bit of a hot take you got there, but the people downvoting you should really watch some videos of alcoholics recounting the horror stories they face.
1
u/dani96dnll Aug 23 '26
Why is it that whenever people talk about alcohol, they only talk about alcoholics? Can't someone just drink in moderation?
3
u/Ghuldarkar Aug 23 '26
I don't mean this as an attack to you, but your comment represents just exactly the kind of people I meant to address in mine.
I'm all for the occasional fun drink, but that is also where people miss the first sort of symptoms of alcohol addiction. Alcohol creates a very strong bodily dependancy, even compared to many stronger drugs, and without awareness the people in early forms of addiction will think they just want that occasional drink but they already experience withdrawal if they have to go too long without it, they just don't notice it.
Of course many of their friends will also not notice, and most people will generally react negatively towards any warning or mention of trying to cut back. “can't people drink in moderation“ is also problematic if someone who struggles with the addiction is confronted by it. Even though you are right in your statement and I'm sure you meant no harm.
Alcohol is also a depressant, it pushes your brain into a state of lower activity. This helps people relax, but it also lowers the activity of the parts of your brain that are responsible for controlling your inhibitions and it depresses your mood by reducing hormone regulation. So it's the worst thing you could take if you're not feeling well, especially if part of the unwell feeling comes from an early addiction.
Again, I'm very partial to a good drink, but I think we really need to raise awareness of alcohol addiction. I haven't even gotten to the horror stories I've heard of heavy drinkers going into withdrawal. I hope you didn't take this negatively, I just wanted to use your comment as an opportunity to elaborate.
6
u/hiimtashy Aug 22 '26
Alcohol is the worst. I feel like everybody has a story where they have lost somebody due to alcohol. I've lost a grandfather and an uncle to the poison.

Correcting "people" to "women" implies that women aren't people.
Incel behavior.
25
u/Wine_Man Aug 21 '26
Happens a lot in the industry. Lots of people don’t take the 2 minutes to remove the bottles
1
u/WheelMax Aug 22 '26
Aren't they designed to be set up like that? Don't they have straps or a cover or wrapping or something that should stay on until it's in place?
1
u/arnons_ Aug 22 '26
Depends on the display in the truck it comes on it has extra packaging around it to make sure nothing falls out And then you roll it into the store side ways not how they did it Also normaly displays like this one should have the products separately for shipping for wxtra safty

I can smell this spill. Used to merch for a booze distributor- this kind of stuff happens all the time. At least it's not Baileys.

u/tukuiPat Aug 20 '26
For the people calling AI, it's real footage - go touch some grass. REWE is a German supermarket chain, the store that this occurred in is located in Bammental Germany.
1
u/puddingfayce Aug 22 '26
Bammental? not Achenbach on the shirt?
1
u/tukuiPat Aug 22 '26
Achenbach is apart of the store name. https://www.rewe.de/marktseite/bammental/831021/rewe-markt-reilsheimer-str-9/

Best application of Aperol I’ve ever seen tbh

Aperol spritz is pretty nice! Also the Last Word variations “Naked and Famous” and “The Division Bell” are quite nice too!
NAKED AND FAMOUS
3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) Mezcal
3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) Yellow Chartreuse
3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) Aperol
3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) fresh lime juiceTHE DIVISION BELL
1 oz. (30 ml) Mezcal
3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) Aperol
1/2 oz. (15 ml) Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur
3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) fresh lime juice
Expressed grapefruit oil for garnish1
u/FifaDK Aug 22 '26
I’m always happy to try something once - so will give those drinks a chance if he opportunity appears…
But I sure do feel like I’ve given Aperol Spritz enough chances.. it just really doesn’t suit my taste buds

u/risat49 Aug 20 '26
Looked away at the exact time of hitting the obstacle ....100% driver fault
3
u/BigDoofusX Aug 20 '26
Driver was on the opposite side and likely was depending on the person who was literally guiding her.
6
u/perrypeenlord Aug 20 '26
She’s not driving, she’s pulling a pallet jack and the lady closest to the camera is at fault
1
u/ZYRANOX Aug 21 '26
is it really her fault that she decided to look at the side to make sure the trolley thing wasnt getting closer to the side?

The best part is that the truck crew can help themselves to the unbroken ones. When I worked in such an outfit, whenever there was a new item that several of the other crew members were interested in trying, a case of that item would often end up being “accidentally” damaged. Extraordinary coincidences, every time. 😐😐😐😐

u/WahrerKorsti Aug 19 '26
Why do so many people think that's AI? Honestly it looks pretty real.
And yeah it's dumb to drive such displays around without the package but that's happening pretty often in reality, have done it by myself tbh.
1
u/Pipcleaner Aug 19 '26
Just look at the liquid going over the stool. It just melts over it real quick. Bottles shouldn't even be breaking from that point
5
u/ThatEvilSpaceChicken Aug 20 '26
You can see a bottle hit the top of the stool and break. This is so clearly not AI, the reactions of the people are much to realistic
-10
u/I_saw_u_take_a_dump Aug 19 '26
Look how bottles fall, look at where the lady stands, and also look at the plates that held liqueur, it's just not how things fall.
To me it looks very sus
Edit. Look where the lady stands, she is in the liquid, when she steps back, there is no liquid droplets when she steps on dry tile.
3
u/Tier_One_Meatball Aug 19 '26
It looks sus, but taking a deeper look, ill say its probably real.
The way everything falls looks right to me.
2
u/WahrerKorsti Aug 19 '26
I'm almost tempted to drive to Achenbach and ask by myself if the Video is real :D
1
5
u/WahrerKorsti Aug 19 '26
Yes, yes it does. It looks exactly like that.
You can't see the droplets, because she is standing righ in front of it? Like at what step you would be able to see her previous step clearly?
At one step you even see how her foot is stopping the liquid until she steps back, right after the fall down.

How would you see the prints when her entire body and legs are in line, covering the trail as she backed up? Do you believe that the prints should somehow be left where she hasn't stepped? Doesn't make a lot of sense.

Ha, looks like you're the one so terrified of AI you couldn't even tell what's real or fake anymore. You're genuinely an NPC in a world that's leaving you behind.

u/Manjorno316 Aug 19 '26
Oh yeah. Good catch.
2
u/TophT1 Aug 19 '26
Nah bro, she’s blocking where her footprints would be, but look at her right leg as she’s backing up, near her knee is wet when she’s standing there arms above her head.
Also the fact that other people in the background are reacting differently than each other leads me to think this isn’t AI
-16

u/Large_Mountains Aug 19 '26
This is AI. Her foot is in the puddle and blast zone then she steps out with zero drag or footprint or anything.
2
u/wesw02 Aug 21 '26
I agree. The speed and uniformly the liquid spread felt really off. If you go frame by frame it looks like the blast zone is fully filled before 50% of the bottles have hit the ground
1
u/Super_Vegeta Sep 02 '26
It's being pulled on a pallet jack, the bottles are breaking upon collision with the handle of said pallet jack.
3
u/brek1989 Aug 20 '26
Every short video (10 sec or less) should be viewed with skepticism. This doesn't look A.I. after a few views, and the shop also seems real (German-based), so who knows.
5
u/FatBussyFemboys Aug 19 '26
Its clearly not ai. Idk how you could even make that determination since her body is positioned in front of the camera, you cant see the area she stepped out of to even make that determination.
Super easy to tell its not ai by the way the tops break off the bottles. Also the puddle thing, this is aperol its a thicker stickier alcohol. Its only going to spread out so far.
1
u/HotKaramelRP Aug 20 '26
I don’t know if it’s AI or not but you definitely can see where her left foot was
At 6 seconds her body shifts and you can see… the lines in the tiles are a good marker for where her foot was and where you can see
Now it’s possible the liquid filled in the footprint that quickly but I don’t know
1
7
u/psymeariver Aug 19 '26
What the hell’s she looking at to her right that she can’t see to her left?

I know this is AI, mainly for the fact Aperol Labels don't look like that. Rather than that there is many other red flags screaming AI.
Lights are weirdly unconisitnent
In the background there is a person wheeling a cart that seems to be awkwardly long yet seems like it would be impossible to navigate in this space.
When slowed you can see bottles breaking mid air before they hit the ground.
Major red flag is that most of these other brands are unrecognizable to me. I’ve worked with wine, beer & spirits for years the I can only recognize the aperol label that's not even correct
1
u/Super_Vegeta Sep 02 '26

"I dont recognize a German supermarket and or am an expert on everything that could possibly be used in Germany and they are using bottle and a hand truck i dont recognize therefore this is ai"
Lmaooo
2
u/FatBussyFemboys Aug 19 '26
Its clearly not ai.
Super easy to tell its not ai by the way the tops break off the bottles and shoot out. Also the puddle thing, this is aperol its a thicker stickier alcohol. Its only going to spread out so far.
1
u/DarthVenture Aug 20 '26
And that’s why there’s no footprints after the person stepping in the puddle moved backwards?
1
u/FatBussyFemboys Aug 20 '26
Her body is blocking where these supposed footprints would be so idk how yall make that determination that there are no footprints as her body literally blocks the whole bathing she took walking backwards in relation to the camera angle.
Also try and leave a footprint in actively spilling liquid lmao.
Silly point
1
u/DarthVenture Aug 20 '26
When she walks backwards you can see where her feet touch on the bare floor and there isn’t a single track.
Not only this but the bottom of her pants don’t get wet?
You think there’s enough broken bottles to justify the amount of liquid on the floor? The spill ABRUPTLY stops forming a generic splatter…
If you think that’s a silly point, we’re absolutely doomed. This video has ALL the red flags of AI.
ETA: The reflections on the tiles abruptly disappear towards the end before magically reappearing. You want me to go on?
1
u/FatBussyFemboys Aug 20 '26
When she walks backwards you can see where her feet touch on the bare floor and there isn’t a single track.
You literally cant lol
You guys are so delusional, I saw others be like "cant even understand the words on the shirt and none of these bottles are recognizable"
Gee maybe because its from a super market in Germany 😂

3
u/Beginning_Annual5816 Aug 19 '26
The puddle just also stops instead of spreading, look to either side of her legs and it looks like a nickelodeon logo
12
u/A1000eisn1 Aug 19 '26
Also I've never seen a display like that for alcohol or any glass bottles. I ran a stock crew for 5 years and set up all the displays. The ones with glass were always much smaller probably for this exact reason.
