The glass exploded

Had to watch it a few times to see what he hit.

It's the vibrations, he rested it on the bottom as he pushed it, that frequency of vibration was enough to make it pop

It's tempered glass, he chipped an edge. Nothing to do with vibrations.

Source: Me, I've worked in every stage of glass manufacturing for 20 years.

I watched it again and you're probably correct, however vibrations can still kill tempered glass, I don't know why you think that's impossible, especially if you've worked in that industry...

Nothing is impossible although, it is extremely improbable. I have worked in the industry from manufacturing raw glass all the way up to making the windows for homes, this includes tempering and heat treating glass, and I have not once seen a frequency break tempered glass.

It's always vibration accompanied by a snag or bounce, and inevitably it's the snag or bounce that breaks the glass.
