So not to steal the thread but there are a lot of glass workers in here...

About 15-20 years ago or so I went into a store that had a "frameless" glass door and it seemed as soon as I "touched" the handle to begin pulling it, the door exploded and I was standing there holding the handle while everyone in 100 yards was looking at me. Luckily I was kind of angled to the door and was able to turn my head away. I ended up with some superficial cuts on my hand.

I apologized repeatedly and said I barely touched the handle I didn't yank on it hard or anything. The employees and the manager came over to check on me. I had some minor cuts so they took me to the back gave me some Band-Aids and then when I got home I used peroxide and stuff and washed everything up.

I assumed it was cracked behind the brass handle and it was ready to shatter when I put a little pressure on it?

off topic peroxide does more damage to the healing process than good

Off Topic Peroxide is a good band name. Or movie title.

it creates more damage it doesn't just kill bacteira but also the bodies cells slowing wound healing and giving more chance for infection best way to clean ur wounds it with saline or just plain tap water. It used to be recommended to use but that pratice is outdated

Ah, thanks for explaining what's wrong with peroxide.

However, my "question" was more like an agreement with your statement and additionally "yeah, why don't people use Isopropyl alcohol instead?"

that issue applies to both of them

IPA is not hydrogen peroxide.

I know, I explained it in the other comment. This was a misunderstanding :)
