She was thirteen, wtf do you mean “let it go”
HE RAPED A CHILD, a child cannot consent, it is always rape.
Rape should not be ignored no matter what, & especially when it’s a kid.

u/ClaytonHawthorne Jul 17 '26
The only reason Malone didn't go to prison and was allowed to have an NBA career was that the family he exploited was quite poor and the earnings Malone would have gotten from the NBA would help pay for the child,
Only to then abandon the kid, refuse to pay for the child support, and say to the judge that the $125 weekly payment was excessive; he made $262,500 per year approximately on his rookie contract, and the $6500 a year child support was about 2.5% of that.

So this means Karl Marlone officially qualifies for U.S. president.

u/NifftyTwo Jul 26 '26
I'm sure there's evidence you could provide me with, showing how Trump impregnated a 13 year old? Being that that's what you're insinuating.
17
u/moverwhomovesthings Aug 07 '26
I love how you don't even deny the fact that trump had sex with children but only argue about whether one of them got pregnant.
-2
u/NifftyTwo Aug 07 '26
That's some absolute mental gymnastics you just went through to get to that. But since I have to say it as well, I also don't think he's had sex with children. I like how you just came to spew bull shit, again, with zero legitimate sources.
12
u/moverwhomovesthings Aug 08 '26
With trump being mentioned so many times in the Epstein files, so much concerning stuff in relation tp trump in the Epstein files, trump not wanting the files to be released and trump not even wanting to talk about the entire thing, do you not think that there is a slight possibility that trump might have done some sexy sex witg minors?
Obviously as long as trump is POTUS he can prevent evidence being released, you'd have to be a fool to believe that trump can't influence this.
0
u/NifftyTwo Aug 08 '26
And you'd have to be a fool to sit there with no actual evidence but stand by your convictions so assuredly. It's like people who argue for creation or evolution. Neither side actually have any legitimate evidence but both sides see what they want and try to "prove" they're side is right. Unfortunately neither of us can be 100% sure. Fortunately for Trump, it's innocent until proven guilty.
7
6
u/Specialist_Ad_6921 Aug 13 '26
As a 2 time Trump voter, it's very obvious Trump did it. His actions say so 🤷♂️
5
u/moverwhomovesthings Aug 08 '26
I see, so we can surely agree that there is as much evidence for evolutiob to be true as there is evidence for trump having sex with minors.
Also trump could release al Epstein files at any point if he wanted to, I wonder why he doesn't want to destroy those rumors that he had sex with minors. He is either protecting other people who had sex with minors or he is protecting himself because he had sex with minors. So in a best case scenario he wants to protect people who rape children, that's really only marginally better than him enpregnating a 13 year old.
You can still defend trump, but now you are just another one of those people who protect people who rape children.
3
u/ChaserOnion Aug 10 '26
You are totally correct on both. Evolution has so much evidence and those files are no joke.
19
u/ClickOutrageous4375 Jul 27 '26
You have to be very naive to not know crime can exist without evidence.
1
u/NifftyTwo Jul 27 '26
Are you for real? 🤣 do you really think that would hold up in court?
"Well what's your evidence?"
"Oh well we don't actually have proof...we just really really believe it to be true your honor!"
12
u/King_Steez Jul 27 '26
Literally the trump administrations go to move in court and you don’t see the irony 🤣🤣

Pat Bev was also featured in the Hoop Dreams sequel, Hoop Reality. Arthur Agee was involved. It's amazing how many people I tell this and they seem shocked.
Following Arthur Agee a decade later as he mentors a new high school star, Patrick Beverley, at their alma mater, Chicago's Marshall High.

Before the clip, the interviewer was basically asking Patrick about his thoughts about Karl Malone, when he is and isn’t playing basketball, and drops this bombshell afterwards; when he’s asking about what he thinks of Karl Malone off the court.

u/No_Meet_1550 Jul 25 '26

2
u/Retireegeorge Jul 26 '26 edited Jul 27 '26
No but when I was 16 I got my 16 year old girlfriend pregnant. We were in trouble that's for sure - but I don't think I raped her. It's a caveat to the law is all I'm saying.
Edit: typo

u/ClownfishSoup Aug 09 '26
People having sex with someone under the age of consent is “statutory rape” meaning even if both agreed to it, it’s still rape. There is an exception called the “Romeo and Juliet” which takes into account the age gap and if it was consensual. So if you are 17 and your partner is 16 and then on your birthday you are an “adult” it is not statutory rape. The gap has a max of 2-4 years depending on where you live, but there is also a bare minimum like 14 or something so a 14 year old having sex with a 13 year old is still statutory rape, but two 16 years old is not.

Reddit banned my other account for appropriately calling out that the person in question raped a child. What the fuck Reddit?
2
u/Retireegeorge Jul 16 '26
Was it as simple a situation as described? Was it in an innapropriate context ie without any language control in a setting where young people etc are part of the audience?
I don't like some mods but also don't like being manipulated...

Raped. He raped a child.
-13
u/ChrisPinnacles Jul 09 '26
Isn’t that obvious since he says that he got her pregnant?
43
u/shitsgayyo Jul 09 '26
It is “obvious” sure
But by sanitizing the words we use, it paves the way for normalization. The more we say “got pregnant” or “had sex” when in reality we mean rape, the more rapists are able to spin their story and make themselves look like not rapists. Rapists don’t like when rape is labeled as rape.
9
u/ChrisPinnacles Jul 09 '26
Good point, I guess it comes down to how “naive” one is to the public's stance on what constitutes rape
0
u/The_Lame_Gryphon Jul 09 '26
Not refuting your overall point, but the context here disallows any alternative to rape. I feel like the words chosen were for additional impact and not to protect the rapist, as the outcome was stated which indicates and confirms rape. Unless saying "he impregnated a 13yo via rape" would be more effective. I dunno. For me this example is impossible to misinterpret as presented, but I see your point if age/outcome/crime are either nit provided or obscured beyond basic inspection
74
u/PresentationOpen7879 Jul 09 '26
They let her give birth and raised the child??? Disgusting.

Gloria and her family eventually reached an out-of-court settlement with Malone in the late 1980s for $125 per week in child support
9
u/Canadianweedrules420 Jul 10 '26
That's fucking wild as in that mid 90s my dad was giving my mom more than that per month for child support and he was a door salesman. He made good money but not Karl Malone nba money. Hope they fought for more than that after having thier child raped.

FROM GOOGLE:
When former NBA player Karl Malone was 20 years old and attending Louisiana Tech University, he fathered a child with a 13-year-old girl named Gloria Bell. The child, named Demetress Bell, grew up to play in the NFL. [1, 2]
Here are the key details of the historical situation:
The Incident: In 1983, a 20-year-old Malone impregnated 13-year-old Gloria Bell. [1]
Legal Action: The victim's family chose not to press statutory rape charges but instead filed a paternity lawsuit. Malone initially denied paternity, but blood tests later proved he was the father, and the two parties settled out of court.
61
u/ObstreperousNaga5949 Jul 09 '26
How do you have to press charges over this, how is it not automatically persecuted by the staten?
6
u/Illustrious_Hotel527 Jul 11 '26
Family did not press charges because it would hurt Malone's ability to make money and support the child.
24
u/Zoso03 Jul 09 '26
it was the 80's, it wasn't until 1993 that Marital Rape was illegal across the country
-197
u/ravenmortal Jul 09 '26
A person, who by your admission, had over 2 decades and numerous unsupervised opportunities to harm children and never did is NOT a predator or a groomer. A person associated with Donald Trump is not necessarily a predator. Two things can be true at the same time. Let it go.

“Got a 13 yo pregnant” yeah that should be said like this “he raped a 12yo child”. These semantics as they’re now really try hard to minimize the impact.

u/RadkoGouda Jul 09 '26
Relax hes not trying to minimize. Hes just saying literally what happened.

u/Less_Performance_629 Jul 09 '26
pregnant at 13. not gave birth at 13.
im not defending this sick fuck, he should have been put to death for doing that. but lets raise our standards of critical thinking
35
u/shiny-baby-cheetah Jul 09 '26 edited Jul 09 '26
Yeah I'm here to tell you very clearly in esy to read words that that is an insignificant detail that means nothing to the moral judgement, here
Raping a 12 year old and raping a 13 year old are the same vile crime, and one is not even a single scrap more acceptable than the other. He deserves to rot in hell.
I'll engage with your ridiculous statement, though - what lack of critical thought is there, in knowing that the length of human gestation makes it statistically most likely that the expecting mother will have a birthday during her pregnancy? What are we missing, here? What's being overlooked, by making that statistically backed assumption?
And if that's still not enough for you how about reading the fucking article, where it states the age she gave birth??
25
u/Joelandrews5 Jul 09 '26
She gave birth at 13. Let’s raise our standards of reading before typing.
-16
u/Unhappy_Pause_1997 Jul 09 '26
Still could be raped after turning 13 and gave birth before turning 14. She could have been raped at 12 and just turned 13 by the time the egg and sperm cell fused, but I think most people will then say "impregnated a 12 year old" (Fuck this is sickening to type)

u/bowarrow99 Jul 09 '26 edited Jul 09 '26
How does getting a 13 year old pregnant mean he raped a 12 yo? Not that either one is ok, I just don’t get the connection.
Edit: to be clear, I’m not saying at all that getting a 13 yo pregnant is in any way better than getting a 12yo pregnant. I’m just questioning why we’re assuming she was 12 when the video clearly says she was impregnated at 13. I guess it sounds worse to say she was 12? Maybe she really was impregnated at 12, I don’t know. The clip says impregnated at 13 tho, so I’m just questioning why people are saying 12?
28
u/Time_Physics_6557 Jul 09 '26
Likely that if she gave birth at 13, then she was impregnated at 12. And children can't consent. She was raped by an adult man either way.
-14
u/bowarrow99 Jul 09 '26
Where was it said that she gave birth at 13? It plainly says she was impregnated at 13.
21
u/jespaghetti Jul 09 '26
Having intercourse with a minor is rape. Doesn't matter if the child consented. It is rape.

That means HE IMPREGNATED HER WHILE SHE WAS 12-YEARS-OLD. His son was born 03 May. Karl Malone should be in jail. They need to put him in jail right now.

It doesn’t say she was 13 when the baby was born, it says she got pregnant when she was 13. I’m not really sure what difference it makes anyway?
11
u/SmallhandsnCabbage Jul 09 '26
I'm not quite sure why anyone commenting other then, he should be in jail and is a rapist.

But the clip doesn’t say that. In fact it says he impregnated a 13 yo. The comment I replied to says “this means he impregnated her while she was 12.”
