Great technical sessions. I saw the talk that won best abstract. It was about low DO and nutrient removal. Super cool stuff.

I was there. Spent all my time on the floor talking to vendors. Goddamn the food in NOLA is fire.

Yes. Most expensive meal was J.W. Fins, hands down. Even beat Bayona.
But 4 days on the convention floor is hard on legs and lower back.

I only have an expo-floor pass, so I’m trying to plan around that. Were the student design competitions open to expo-floor attendees?

I was there. We have a ton of projects coming up at the plant. I was able to meet and speak with a lot of vendors regarding the upcoming process changes. That was awesome.

I was there from Saturday to Wednesday morning. I spoke with 2 different Engineering groups that we currently work with. I was able to walk the floor and speak with pump and valve manufacturers that I currently use. They where able to answer questions that I had about maintenance and or willing to send over a rep to our plant. I was able to go to a technical session on small water water system improvement. The session was over our plant and recommendations to achieve higher permitted flow along with less labor. Great experience.

🙋🏻♂️ Walking the show for 3 days is hard but lots of cool things to see and people to meet. Like someone else mentioned, the food in NOLA is fire 🔥

I always considered going to one of these events but never do. My wife’s a therapist so we always end up attending her conferences, maybe I’ll make her attend one either me next time lol
