karin kanzuki.

like her name is literally karin, c'mon.

i like that she can absolutely physically back up her haughty attitude, also she fights with bajiquan and that's cool.

Unironically Karin, the SF5 era made me love to hate her

Nanami in Revolutionary Girl Utena. You get a Nanami episode and anything could happen.

...Does this mean Miss Piggy is one as well? What am I saying, of course she is.

Actually not. She's a diva for sure, but her haughty-taughtiness is a huge act. She doesn't actually come from high class or old money, and that's part of her appeal and development and character. That despite her modest origins, she still perseveres, and has the utmost confidence in herself, and a huge part of what makes her relatable.

Naga the Serpent from Slayers. She has the greatest laugh in all of anime history.

Currently, Olympia from FE Fortunes Weave has rocketed up there. Went real “I hate her” to “I will die for you queen” in 3 chapters

Kaguya from Kaguya-Sama: Love is War.

Don't @ me but I actually find the Ojou-Sama laugh really annoying giving me a distaste for the archetype a lot of the time please don't get angry folks.

Etoile Rosenqueen from the Rhapsody trilogy. Besides having an hilariously over the top ego, her family’s immense wealth allowed her to create technology centuries ahead, most notably heavy weaponry like pistols, machine guns and laser mounted airships.

So in Style Savvy 4, there's this girl named Camilla. She's your classical haughty brat who thinks she's so much better than everybody else.

And then her classmate Rosie becomes a pop idol, and Camilla fucking FALLS for the cute country bumpkin, and you can tell that it burns her in literally every single corner of her life. By the end of the game, she's literally trying to ingratiate herself to Rosie's family. But Camilla definitely doesn't care about Rosie though. Not at all.

Nellie Oleson is not my favorite but she definitely was my awakening when I didn't even know the trope or anything really as a kid. My favorite has to be Lili from Tekken, love her look, she 's a fighter, she likes tea and cats, she cameos in a Digimon game... she's perfect.

u/Paladin51394 welcome to Miller's Maxi Buns, may I take your order? 1h ago

Was not expecting Little House on the Prairie on the sub. I watched it with my mom all the time when I was a kid, that and the Waltons.

Nellie is very interesting because she's a perfect example of nature vs nurture.

While che was growing up she was an absolute brat of a child, her mother's influence spoilinger her rotten. But once she was an adult and started making her own decisions, especially about love she got better. Especially after she moved out and got married, she completely turned her personality around and became a good person and actually befriends Laura.

Meanwhile while her mother stays the same bitter (and super racist) bitch she'd always been. And even adopts a girl named Nancy who's basically a clone of Nellie as a child, but is ACTUALLY psychopathic, Nancy literally tries to murder a girl by locking her in an icebox and feels no remorse.

Luvia from Fate won my heart and changed my brain chemistry forever when I watched her Suplex Rin.

Constance from Fire Emblem 3H is great, too.
