Other [Other] October Monthly Boosting Thread
Hello, and welcome to this month’s boosting thread!
First and foremost, start by reading the comments to see if another Redditor has requested some help. If that’s the case, reach out and get a session organized! This will help lower the number of comment threads all revolving around the same game.
If nobody has requested help for your game, feel free to make a comment. We’d like for you to include in your comment the name of the game/trophy you’re boosting, how many players you’re looking for, what time zone you’re in, and a preferable way for reaching out to organize a boosting session. Our hope is that by having you coordinate in PM’s or some other fashion, this will sidestep a lot of scrolling people will have to do in order to find a boosting group.
Finally, if you manage to fill a group, please edit your comment to say “Group Full”. That way, someone else can create a new boosting thread if necessary.
We want everybody who needs help to receive it, and we can ensure that by eliminating coordinating comment threads and keeping things nice and tidy. Please be mindful, and understand that boosting threads are first come first serve.
On that note, good luck, and happy hunting!

[Update] User Flair Editing
Hey all! I've been getting a bunch of mod mail lately about people not being able to edit user flair. Upon doing a little digging, it seems like there was some update to the app that broke this feature for a lot of people. It allows you to pick a flair from a list, but doesn't allow you to edit the one you choose. I have verified that the problem is within the Reddit app, not the r/trophies sub. Until they fix the issue, everyone will need to use a browser / PC if they want to edit their flair. Below is a list of steps on how to edit flair in a browser:
Go to the sub's home page.
- Locate the User Flair section on the right side of the page.
- Click the pencil icon within this section.
- Select one of the two preset flair templates.
- Input your information in the dialogue box below. To customize the icons in your flair, click the smiley face on the right side of the text entry box.

Screenshot [Stray] No. 73. I dug into my backlog to finally finish the very first game I played on my PS5.
I absolutely love this game and the only reason I didn’t finish sooner was because of two obnoxious trophies: I Am Speed and Can’t Cat-ch Me. Trophy list was pretty easy otherwise. I’m very happy to finally collect the platinum for this beautiful game.

News [Discussion] Kingdom Hearts Collection on PS5, as expected, only has plats for KH1, KH3D, and KH3.
Not surprised, but kind of crazy it's a bunch of DLC trophies for KH2, KHBBS, and KH2. This whole one launcher one plat thing is just ridiculous.
0.2 has never had a plat, even on PS4 so it never would have had a plat.

Discussion [Discussion] What are some games you’ve tried to platinum but you just ended up giving up?
The Arkham trilogy is one of the best trilogy’s ever but those damn riddler trophies and the combat challenges are challenging so those were the reasons I just gave up trying to get the platinum. Still love the games though.

Showcase [Returnal] #16
This is probably one of the most addicting games ever, if you only have the patience to just keep going and not give up in the first zone
Getting 100% for this was really satisfying and the story is solid, though you kinda need to piece it together and it’s very open to interpretation
Overall a 9/10 game and a must play for any gamer out there

Discussion [Discussion] Looking for Kingdom Hearts tips
Hey guys, decided to get the Kingdom Hearts collection for PS5, as I wanted to experience this series for the first time for a while, especially with all the hype around KH4 coming. Is there any good tips for going for the platinums, or just any tips in general, for these games as a first time player? If I choose to do so of course 😅

Discussion [GTAV] Finally completed this as my 56th platinum 😭
I loved the story mode but honestly the online was such a drag and has me feeling so drained after getting all the required trophies never thought id get the plat for this game and I'm proud of myself for getting it, but god I'm not gonna play any long big games for a while

Showcase [Epic Mickey: Rebrushed] Platinum #40
This game has been on my backlog since it was on PS+. I had booted it up, played about 2 hours, then dropped it. It took a lot of "Now I'm gonna make progress" then not touching it to finally get the motivation to finish it up.
Obviously, made for kids. It didn't really hold my interest story-wise. I'm pretty big on platformers, a bit less with the platform + shooting, but it wasn't hard and kept me entertained for the most part. Like most other games that have similar trophies, I still hate 2 playthroughs haha, especially since they don't differ much, even the ending.
Story 5/10
Gameplay 6/10
Overall 5/10

Showcase [Nioh 3]
Took a hiatus for a few months and decided to finally finish this. Sadly got repetitive to me about halfway through but was committed lol.

Showcase [Extremely Powerful Capybaras] #57 | Fun and Short Roguelite!
Been awhile since i posted my Trophies here but i got some new ones im happy to share with!
Starting with Extremely Powerful Capybaras! i happen to remember that i have this game in my library and decided to pick up it up again to get the Platnium Trophy together with my Girlfriend!
Most of the Trophies are relatively easy to achieve though at certain points i needed to look up what to do.
Otherwise it was fun finishing the game and getting 100%!

Showcase [God of War III Remastered] Platinum #7
This is my first attempt at an older gen game and also my first time playing one of the GoW trilogies. The game's story is nice as expected but I ended up ruining my experience by playing on Titan difficulty.
Some of the fights in the game are borderline bullshit rather than difficulty, like the cerberus one and the final part of labyrinth. Its a massive pain when you need to do the entire thing if you die. For the cerberus one they definitely should've added checkpoints. Ive done the valkyries and berserkers in the new GoWs, those were hard, not stupid. And the challenges of Olympus were nightmare fuel. Whoever made them, i hope you step on a lego.
Other than those, the rest of the game was fun. Took me 25 hours, with 1.2 playthroughs (missed helm of hades so had to go upto hades fight for 2nd run).

Showcase [Hades 2] #108 The grind it takes to get the true ending is so immense that might as well get the platinum.

Screenshot [Control Resonant] #137 Absolutely loved the art direction and voice acting
Remedy really know how to set tone. Combat definitely gets a tad repetitive and the last boss is lame. Otherwise, an extremely cool game with the plat mostly being do all the things.
