after a year here is the ianto zine ive been organising !!! you can view it here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Vbqdxc0snQlC1pBAccRDMBK4OXhjxhq3

if youd be interested in participating in a future torchwoood zine ive made a forms to determine the theme of the next one https://forms.gle/12FxCqBsgWvhSTQu7

as soon as i drew Ianto with the Torchwood Cardiff team and saw 2 empty spaces beside him, i KNEW i had to finish off the rest of the Torchwood One team including a new updated Yvonne look!

Yvonne, Ianto and Tommy have become one of my all-time favourite Torchwood teams (especially in Less Majesty) so why not add them to my growing book of Torchwood fanart!

i PROMISEEE the Torchwood Soho gang is coming soon, i know i keep putting it off but ive already started the outline for the King himself, Gideon Lyme.

by all means, if you’ve got suggestions for how i can style my drawings for characters with very few pictures/outfit variants available of them (Gideon, Lizbeth, and the 1950s suited Andy) let me know and ill try to work it in

ive been gradually learning to draw people, and i thought it’d be cool to practice by drawing some Torchwood audio characters (to help visualise them ig)

9 months since i started, ive finally gotten round to a team ive been loving recently (just finished listening to The Unbegotten): the Torchwood Soho team from the 1950s 👌

Lizbeth Hayhoe was a pretty hard character to find a reference for 😬 the only 2 images i could find of her were a photoshop of Dervla Kirwan’s Dr Who character and a photo of her much younger than we meet her (the one i based my drawing off of)

im thinking of what my next drawing is going to be… maybe a redo of my earlier crap drawings (my beloved Mr. Colchester), or i could do Captain John Hart (bet he’d love that), or even some scenes!

Hey ☺️ thank you for being so kind when I shared my Adam vid a couple of months back - I was extremely anxious about posting and sharing, but you were so lovely and positive, I can’t thank you enough for that! I’ve put together some of my older Janto fan art as a video to share, too - I hope you‘ll enjoy the shippy goodness! 💙💜

ive come full circle in my drawings of Torchwood audio characters and remaking my very first two: Mr. Colchester and Colin!

im a slow learner but i reckon ive definitely come a decent way in my drawing ability :)

this was the largest drawing ive done (previous ones have all been 3 characters across one landscape page) but this one took up a whole page for the full pose with both characters. not sure my pencils are the perfect tool for a larger drawing (the gaps in lines show up way more) but this was an alright first try at a fuller shot.

i was sort of picturing this drawing as that moment at the end of “Colin Alone” when Colchester bursts in and saves Colin!

getting back into my drawing phase and ive gone a little rusty…

Anyway, here’s everyone’s favourite Will-They-Won’t-They! Owen Harper and Toshiko Sato

i originally started these drawings as a way to visualise the Audio-only characters from The Story Continues. but i’ll definitely get round to the remaining TV Torchwood characters (Ianto and Suzie) before drawing the Torchwood One and Soho teams

i have finally compiled allll my drawings of the fantastic Torchwood 3 team from the show!!!

sorta tried to mimic how they’d do a group shot in the first pic, and then added in Suzie for the second.

i have veryyy slightly honed my drawing over the period of doing these, and ive definitely found a hobby

rounding off my fanart of the Torchwood 3 team are these drawings of Ianto Jones and Suzie Costello (with the glove of course)!

i left Ianto til last because i know he’s such a fan-favourite, and i Love Suzie so much too 💜

so far, thats All of the Torchwood TV team (except Rhys & Esther) and the whole of The Story Continues team!

Let me know who your favourite character is, you can look back through my older drawings! next up are Tommy from Torchwood One, Lizbeth Hayhoe and Gideon Lyme

A piece I drew inspired by a story my friend wrote featuring Torchwood responding to Missy's Cyberman plot in Series 8 of Doctor Who. This more focuses on Jack and this specific Cyberman. No spoilers for who it is and the fic itself but I really wanted to share this art with y'all.

Andy is such a comfort character for me! i’m so glad he’s been kept in a recurring role through The Story Continues range, just like in the TV series

you can see Andy paired up with good ol’ Norton on Slide 2 :)

up next: Jack, Gwen & Rhys

so… evidently i was experiencing a debt of patience when tackling the Trench-coated Norton, but i’ve refocused and started over.

now (re)introducing the classic Black-suited Norton Folgate! i cant wait to start Torchwood Soho soon, i’ve been dying for some meaty (“Ooh, naughty” in his words) content from Norton.

i’ve started a second draft of Andy to complete this Dynamic Buddy Alien-Hunter Duo!

finally getting round to more of these drawings! here are Orr and Yvonne, to keep building up my 2D version of the Torchwood Story Continues team!

i was rlly proud of how Orr came out! as for Yvonne, she’s a definite improvement on my first draft of drawing her, thats all i’ll say

you can check out the previous drawings too! featuring Tyler, Ng, Mr. Colchester & Colin

(i’m currently taking on Andy and Norton, but they turned out pretty awful, so i’ve got some fixing up & re-dos to do)

finally FINALLY got round to drawing the big guy himself, Captain Jack Harkness! loved the character in Dr. Who when i was a kid

even though he’s not involved with Big Finish anymore, i still felt like i ought to draw him as part of my “Story Continues” project, for his roles in Aliens & God Among Us

admittedly, faces are still eluding me and my pencil, so i may give this one a second try later on. but Up Next, good ol’ Gwen and Rhys (even though they play a very small role in The Story Continues)

i’ve done it! i’ve finished the whole Torchwood Team from “The Story Continues”, with this final update of Gwen and Rhys

even though Gwen and Rhys don’t feature a ton in this range, they definitely live on in spirit. if i’m already adding in Andy, Norton and Colin, i might as well put Gwen and Rhys in with the new guys!

i’ve absolutely LOVED these new Torchwood episodes and they’re certainly very relevant to the times. this week, i’m set to finish Among Us 3, but i’ll be heartbroken to part with this great team.

despite my appalling lack of drawing skills, im attempting a bit of a project, drawing the Torchwood Story Continues team! say hello to Mr. Colchester! (didnt have navy or tan pencils, so i improvised)

coming up: Yvonne, Ng, Orr, Tyler, Andy, Norton, Jack, Gwen & Rhys (maybe even Colin). any suggestions on who i should try soonest

@i4ntojonez

i think i might actually be slooowwwly getting a bit better at drawing.

getting a good design for Ng was certainly a bit of a challenge since you have to try to marry the more human look (as inspired by Gwen) with the alien-metal armour pants (i genuinely don’t remember if these were ever addressed or explained).

very slowly getting round to all the Story Continues cast (had to scrap Yvonne and start from scratch cos she came out looking like Michael Jackson)

A mix of music from the show and what I've heard I feel fits Owen. Just hope you guys enjoy my mix!

evidently, my project of drawing all the “Story Continues” cast is gonna be a slow process, but i’ll keep updating the drawings!

anyone else a big fan of this couple? i absolutely loved seeing this relationship and the role it played in episodes like Escape Room, Another Man’s Shoes and Future Pain

let me know any suggestions for Who i should draw next and how!
