Faith in what though…that justice will eventually be served.

That’s often done in the form of a punishment, otherwise it wouldn’t be seen as “justice”.

It was done instantly in this example therefore instant karma.

This is how the idea of karma is seen and used in society. Whatever personal ideas you have about it doesn’t really matter in the public discourse of the idea.
