He kneeded that

This teenager wouldn't stop kicking a passenger's seat after multiple requests, so the man reclined it back and the impact left the kid injured

I’m 6’3” and when I’m in my seat on a flight, my knees are against the back of the chair in front of me, if someone reclines, it crushes my knees and if I recline it does NOT help my knees from still being crushed lol. I just know every time I fly, I’m going to be miserable and I just put up with it 😂

That's called being an adult. And thank you.

Back in the early 2000's I used to fly a lot and I would book the bulk head and exit row. Then one day maxim and men's health magazine started to publish "flying hacks" and just like that, the bulk head and emergecy exit seats disappeared and every tom, dick and Harry under 5'10" stated booking those seats.

That's my theory.

Can confirm. Am Dick. I only got Maxim for the articles, and that’s why I took that travel hack advice.

If the row is open, they will let you move to it. Everytime I’ve asked the flight attendants they let me move. I realized you could do this when I was a kid and they came up to my 6’6 father and asked him if he wanted the exit row.

Another flight hack is if you tell the flight attendants you have an erection during descent they legally have to suck you off (otherwise your penis will explode when pressure changes).

So I like to take a rhino pill halfway through my flight and laugh as the flight attendants anxiously work my shaft. They’re freaking out. “You came three times! Why are you still hard?!”

Then I tell them it’s because I’m gay so they take me up to the cockpit and the pilot and copilot are already strokin eachother off so I get a gay 3 way and nut 4 times. It kind of sucks that you have to work your way through every flight attendant before you reach the pilot level and get some homoerotic action but it’s definetly worth it.

Dude. Write a book please. I got hard reading your real biographical account of flying in planes.

Worst are the exit rows where there’s literally just the window seat doesn’t have a seat in front and the other two are standard legroom seats. I had a redeye to Charlotte on one of those. Miserable.

Basically you need first class

1

u/dndwhat 9h ago

You can get the more leg room seats. But still. Someone's lights dose not mee. You get to force someone else to not recline their seat. Like you said you deal with it.

Same here

There are seats with extra space for legs usually in the very front of the cabin

What I'll never get is this attitude compared to the one about fat people getting seats.

"Fat people need to be given a second seat! It's not their fault that they can't stop eating!" yes, I know some people are medically predisposed to weight gain...that's far from the majority and is controllable.
vs
"You're tall because of your genes, and because you had ample food available as a child so your growth wasn't stunted. Fuck you, pay to not have your legs crushed."

I'm 6'4" so I get the above poster's problems quite well. Being told to dish out hundreds of dollars (connecting flights of course inflate costs) just so your knees aren't jammed into the seat back is insanity. I made the mistake of sitting in normal cabin on a 737 Max 8 or 9 recently. I had to split my legs apart, and even then my knees were jammed into the seat back in front of me the entire flight to the point that the person tried to recline and couldn't.

1

u/BranchEither4586 8h ago

Yeah the only way to fix my knees not being jammed to the back of the chair in front of me is by spreading my knees apart but then that would be considered mansplaining and I don’t want to go down that rabbit hole 😬😂

1

u/Zestyclose-Market858 6h ago

*well, actually, it manspreading, if I may mansplain

1

u/BranchEither4586 5h ago

Lol thanks for correcting me 😁😂

1

u/Zestyclose-Market858 4h ago

Actually, it's *it's

1

u/Zestyclose-Market858 4h ago

If I may mansplain to myself

1

u/Adventurous_Egg_9500 2h ago

Fun fact, these can still not have enough knee space at that height.

1

u/KananJarrusCantSee 8h ago

Why not pay for the seats with extra leg room instead of suffering for a few to several hours

1

u/DiligentlyNebulous 8h ago

If you do a round trip flight and have connections (eg, 4 flights total) it'll often be $300+ for that legroom. I often pay it because I'm 6'4", but it is incredibly stupid to be forced into that position.

1

u/-01101101- 6h ago

Can't you just pick those seats? Like bulk heads or exit rows, or do they all charge extra when you pick them?

1

u/Pleasant-Darkness 6h ago

They all charge extra now for this reason

1

u/KananJarrusCantSee 6h ago

I fly a lot

I pay more for comfort on those flights.

Extra leg room will cost me 250$ for my 15hr Tokyo to the US flight.

Domestic flights are rarely that expensive.

u/Montana1208 5h ago

His dental bill is going to be more than $300. I love watching Karma in action.

u/youknowjus 7h ago

Nobody forced you to fly

1

u/Happythejuggler 7h ago

What an obtuse answer.

1

u/Bachelor_Haus 3h ago

People are cheap and love to complain.

1

u/Adventurous_Egg_9500 2h ago

ok short queen

1

u/Content_Ambition_764 8h ago

Well deserved

1

u/EywasBlessing 6h ago

Same height here. It's a shame imo. It's not like we are that freakishly rare, is it? It's a shame I tell you.

1

u/mcrider1969 6h ago

Just ask nicely. Id put it back if someone explained that. People are just assholes nowadays.

1

u/Entire_Strain2249 6h ago

En tu caso es razonable pero en este caso es muy evidente que era para molestar y fastidiar e la persona que está enfrente

1

u/Inside_Resource_1628 6h ago

Oh boo hoo. It’s so hard to be tall 🤣

1

u/BranchEither4586 5h ago

I know my complaining is irking the short kings out there lol

1

u/IamTotallyWorking 1h ago

I definitely think some people like to complain about how uncomfortable flying is. Like I see people that are 6' complaining about how little leg room there is on a domestic flight. I am 6'3", and I never had complaints on planes. Sure, I cant cross my legs like some people, but those 3 hours n a plan could be like 15 in a car, so I am absolutely fine.

1

u/pickle15243 4h ago

I feel you on that, I'm 6'4 so whenever I book a flight I always pay a bit extra for a exit seat or extra legroom seat. Always worth it imo, usually its $100 or so more but makes a 10 hour flight bearable

1

u/Heartbreak-Scorsese 4h ago

Why don’t you get the exit row seats? That’s what my wife always books on our flights because I have long legs

1

u/GullibleRisk2837 1h ago

Waaaaah I'm tall and my problems aren't really that bad but I just wanna highlight that I'm tall (even though you shouldn't be having an issue at 6'3")

1

u/PlooplopTibbyTai 1h ago

It’s like fat people, pay for the way that fits you. I paid for 100% of mine.

1

u/fhjjjjjkkkkkkkl 56m ago

Fly PE or business ? Or maybe protest your local airline for not being inclusive of people like you? But don’t show it on the guy forward who is reclining on a seat that can recline and bought a ticket that shows a seat that can recline
