I support that dad getting the kid out of the drunks path to make it safer and more fun.

But yeah, I don’t get any hint of him being predatory here. Just sloppy.

Kid is not at eye level for him and the dad is. IMO, him moving further away is simply because he has an eye level visual of it. He ends up slightly overcorrecting and menacing more to the left.

Nothing reads like he’s trying to accidentally rub, or bump into the girl. Absolute worse case, I could see this as him not respecting women’s space and trying to be a bully…but I am stretching myself there tbh.

I definitely see it as bullying. She’s little and she’s not going to say anything about it. Ever see a kid alone in a concession line at a sporting event? There always seems to be an asshole adult who will take advantage of the size and cut them or talk over them or jostle them, etc. I’ve been that kid and we all probably have. Some adults simply don’t respect kids as people.

And he gets too close to the dad more times than he did the kid. He's just wasted and we have so many Boston bomber idiots in here
