Discussion The easiest $30k this guy ever made

On October 26, 2022, the judge ruled that Walden's contact with Land should have ended when it became clear that Land was not sleeping in the park or in need of assistance, and that the city was not responsible for Walden's actions.

On November 22, 2022, the city settled the lawsuit for $30,000.

An officer has to have a “reasonable articulable suspicion of a crime” before he/she can demand an ID.

That's how it's supposed to work, yes.

But this video illustrates that's not reality. Cop does thing he's not supposed to do, blatantly and undeniably on videotape.

And as a result the tax payers bail him out. Also, he's now Sgt making $60K/yr, so he literally suffered no consequence.

Oh and the court also found there was no originating complaint call, that also came from the police so they created this whole situation themselves. And they also get no punishment for that abuse of power.
