On October 26, 2022, the judge ruled that Walden's contact with Land should have ended when it became clear that Land was not sleeping in the park or in need of assistance, and that the city was not responsible for Walden's actions.

On November 22, 2022, the city settled the lawsuit for $30,000.

The imbalance about how seriously the caller is taken vs not even taking the time to listen to this guy. That’s nuts.

The caller is 95% of the time made up. The cops saw this guy and made shit up to fit their perspective. They never got a call or at least never proved it.

With all those innocent kids around, he could hurt someone in a crowded place like that. It’s wild that at huge gatherings, ppl just lay down on the middle of it all expect nothing bad to happen. Think again beard guy, we’re the law when it comes to these benches.
