On October 26, 2022, the judge ruled that Walden's contact with Land should have ended when it became clear that Land was not sleeping in the park or in need of assistance, and that the city was not responsible for Walden's actions.

On November 22, 2022, the city settled the lawsuit for $30,000.

The caller is 95% of the time made up. The cops saw this guy and made shit up to fit their perspective. They never got a call or at least never proved it.

Why would they? Whats the incentive? They got to ruin this guys day for free with no repercussions and now people will see this video and think they have to comply if they dont want to go sit in jail for no reason. And 30k is barely worth having to deal with some bullshit like this.

No, we’re not moving the goal posts, sorry. You made a claim, I responded. That’s all my point was. One term in fact did the exact thing you claimed Americans were incapable of, and you know it. That’s that.

FWIW I hate Trump. We are on the same side, except for the fact that you think I’m low intelligence simply for being an American. I agree entirely that America has millions upon millions of genuine dumbasses, sure. But it’s intellectually dishonest to pretend like any other country doesn’t, and you’re not really here discussing in good faith.

Indeed.  If the « suspicious activity » reported (possibly by an unreliable crazy) is not there by the time you reach the spot, you don’t simple « investigate » and arrest whoever is close to the spot when you reach it. 🤦‍♂️
