Discussion This is a disaster waiting to happen.

The dog isn’t allowed to be around a toddler because he growls at her. I don’t get it. A family dog is supposed to get along with the whole family. Why are the parents concerned about why the dog “doesn’t like her”? What about the child’s safety?

My roommate back in 2006 was a girl who had one arm. What happened? Oh, the neighbor's pit bull escaped the yard and chewed her arm off. She was 3 years old.

this is why you have to do a sweep of the neighbourhood if you are buying or renting a house

Sure, may as well, since it might prevent some risk. Won't stop a neighbour from getting an aggressive dog 6 months after you've moved in though.
