Discussion Is this new Wolverine game really full of bugs?

Post image

I'm not sure if people are overreacting to its issues.

I only got 2 glitches. One with a nightmare door and another with a boss. All I had to do was go back to the last checkpoint/quit to menu. Nothing serious

Yes, but thats probably because I didn't install the new patch, its a good game, but my god it goes on for too long

I played and enjoyed every bit of it. I didn't notice any bugs. šŸ˜‡ Nothing against those who do not like this video game. Choices and opinions vary from person to person.

The guy comparing it to ET is exaggerating....I finished the game yesterday, it's solid. If Spidey 2 on PS5 is an 11, this is a 7.5 or so.

The absolute worst game on the planet since E.T and marathon. They should be required to preform a recall and force refunds

Sad internet man complains about game he hasn’t played šŸ˜‚

Of course not who would be stupid enough to buy this without confirming that it is in fact garbage..

Ohh yeah probably you šŸ˜‚

That bad dude

2

u/dracovanyz 4d ago

Holy Atari hahahahaha I think you surpass it yourself by comparing to E.T.

Your right we should go dig up those ET games their value went way up.

Wolverine is absolute garbage.

probably the buggiest ps5 game this generation tbh. Absolutely in now way worth the price, wiat until half off. There isnt a single reason to rush to play the game, its mid af

It's got some glitches, but nothing game-breaking so far.

u/Flat-Comparison-749 4d ago

Lmao what???? There's tons of game breaking glitches.

Are we just lying

Completing 60% so far, I got caught on geometry one time and had to restart. I see more glitches on a nightly basis on COD and BF. Don’t get me started on Cyberpunk at release…

There is a lot of room for improvement on this game, but I have 0 regrets buying it on pre-order.

Nope. The game has been attacked by certain redditors spamming negative posts to slander it.
I platinum'd it before any of the two updates/patches and only had one white box glitch (same as Spider-Man 2 on launch), Jean's leg glitching once, and the log sliding.

I assume these have been patched along with others, which many were players trying to get our of bounds or going odd places on purpose.

Several ppl AFAIK has the log slide glitch, so I'm confident it's been fixed, otherwise it would be a huge oversight.

I played on Pro.
If you try to cause bugs on purpose like destroying a lot of boxes for fun, it's not fair imo. I saw one guy doing it just to get a clip of the framerate tanking lol.

Try for yourself is my suggestion.

Obviously a paid bot you have to be insane to think this game should pass us by without scrutiny. This game was an absolute waste of $350 mil get real dude.

No its not

not very buggy, I’m probably like halfway through the game

I had 3-4 soft locks and 1-3 bugs on every level and may be in every 2nd-3d fight. Nothing critical but makes the game look cheaper.
Yesterday I had 2 different soft locks in a row:
1) Enemy fell to unreachable zone (road) which loads me back when I jump there from a roof. Without killing it you can’t proceed
2) Script just didn’t trigger dialogue with Jean and I also found texture stuck in the room where dialogue should be triggered while trying to trigger it.

I only had one bug and if was sliding down a tree getting stuck at the bottom. I think I could've jumped off beforehand though.

I've put about 30 hrs into the game and that was the bug or issue I had with it.

The major issues are all fixed now. You're good to go. The game is still mid though, easy platinum with a forgettable story and repetitive gameplay. The best feature of the game is hands down the photo editor. Id recommend a play through of this game but its not a go out and buy now, it'll probably be on discount really soon (its already being discounted in some places).

The best feature of a game is a photo editor?

6

u/Ok_Fisherman8727 4d ago

Yea the photo editing is 10/10 absolute phenomenal. You can add additional lighting, you can change poses and outfits, you can change camera settings similar to real life, etc. I probably spent more time playing with photos than I actually did playing the game (not including watching cut scenes) on my 2 playthroughs.

u/Salmagros 4d ago

Better than nothing I guess.

I don’t think it’s particularly buggy. I’ve completed Control Resonant and it had more bugs honestly. I also played First Light recently which had a bunch of bugs that required me to quit out, and everyone seems to love that game.

1

u/jujoking 4d ago

I've encountered some bugs on Wolverine, but none in First Light. What did you get?

2

u/TheLoyalShinobi 4d ago

Not really, other than the motorcycle driving on its own video which I'm sure everyone has seen ATP and the story plot being somewhat mid, the game is aight, wait of sale type of game.

As someone who was really looking forward to it I was a little disappointed but the combat at the highest difficulty was fun.

I will say, while the rest of combat is fun, the boss fights left a lot to be desired and felt poorly designed and not as fun to play.

I only encountered one bug throughout my whole play through

-1

u/GeneralBS 4d ago

It just got released and you already finished the story?

2

u/Overall-Ad-8918 4d ago

You acting like the game came out yesterday

-1

u/GeneralBS 4d ago

Means it is a short ass story.

2

u/Overall-Ad-8918 4d ago

I know you like things long af

1

u/GeneralBS 4d ago

Who wouldn't?

3

u/jezr3n 4d ago

Only one bug happened for me. It was when I was sliding down a tree at the beginning of the game, when I got to the bottom Wolverine kept clinging to the tree for a few seconds. That was the only one in my playthrough, though. It’s a pretty bug-free game in my experience, functioned fine. I liked the game overall.

No challenge, No Bugs.

2

u/Weazywest 4d ago

No bugs that I’ve seen and no issues

0

u/Salmagros 4d ago

Full of Bugs? No! Boring? Yes!

1

u/Overall-Ad-8918 4d ago

I need to know why it’s boring to you cuz It’s one of my favorite games

2

u/dracovanyz 4d ago

Um amigo falou sobre isso em outro subreddit, o jogo parecia muito divertido com os anĆŗncios que fizeram, foi uma quebra de expectativa bem grande igual ao Watch Dogs acredito eu

1

u/Salmagros 4d ago

Which Watch Dogs? 1 and 2 were pretty fun for me.

2

u/dracovanyz 4d ago

O 1, eu tambƩm gosto bastante mas lembro de toda a polemica dos downgrades, muito hate desnecessƔrio foi jogado

1

u/Salmagros 4d ago

Yea, I remember vaguely. It's about the huge different between gameplay trailer and actual gameplay I think.

4

u/Chili-Mac-Snac-Attac 4d ago

It’s not at all. I played the whole campaign and didn’t see a single one.

3

u/Phogwalker 4d ago

No, it’s not.

2

u/get_down_and_dirty_ 4d ago

it’s got some jank, but ā€œfull of bugsā€ feels way overblown. nothing i’ve seen has been game-breaking

3

u/Flosi13 4d ago

75% through and I have no issues whatsoever

0

u/dracovanyz 4d ago

Era o que eu estava imaginando

2

u/freshairequalsducks 4d ago

I know some people have but I didn't encounter any bugs in my playthrough.

2

u/SchwizzySchwas94 4d ago

Couple little things here and there but honestly my first play through I don’t remember having any. Theres this one tree that glitches out bad when you slide down it but other than that I think it’s fine.
