Pivotal offseason for us. The window is still open. I'm not saying 100 wins or anything but we can definitely win the division next year. Skip needs to get significantly better as well.

The Rangers have been the same team all year. Perfectly average. Not mad about anything. I don’t let the teams I root for dictate my attitude . Just watch for entertainment. Like gladiators, entertaining, replaceable, life goes on!

Its a hell of a lot more important than just entertainment to a lot of people. Myself included. They're my favorite sports team and have been for 36 years. Some of my favorite childhood memories of my deceased mother and sister are watching Ranger games.

Nitkowski was the guy who convinced me to buy the MLB.TV package so I could permanently listen to the radio guys while watching the game. It's not cheap, but not having to listen to him and Raymond is well worth the money.

As a Nebraskan myself I like Raymond. He isn't amazing but he's fine.

Lewin and Grieve was the best it got. Those broadcasts were fun and it helped that the team was good.

Raymond is a soft talker. Other than that, I've grown to like him well enough. And I've even grown to like Bascik.

Could be better, could be worse. It's worse when Murphy is in the booth with Raymond, for example. Murphy is the Raymond of baseball players so it makes sense they do not work well together. Add a little vanilla to your vanilla, you know.

Anyway I just want a better baseball team.

He has talents, but I don't think his broadcasting abilities are best suited for baseball.

Also his voice sounds too monotone during the game. I actually prefer a play-by-play who you can listen to in the background and can easily clue you in on when there's nothing interesting in the game, and when something exciting is happening, Steve Busby made it very easy with the way he shifted his voice, you knew exactly when to turn your head and look at the TV. Josh Lewin was also good with doing that. Dave Raymond makes all the innings run together. He is always quite late on announcing home runs. Almost as if he has bad vision and doesn't realize he just saw a ball go into the stands until a second afterwards.

It’s not just him, that’s a result of cancel culture. He’s just smart enough to keep his job. I think he does a good job getting excited when things are happening. He knows baseball. He cares a lot about this team.

Listen to the other announcers. It’s painful watching other games. I’d take him over 90% of the other guys.

I don’t know if they’re still doing it, but I loved the quiet inning Apple TV was doing where you just hear the sounds of the stadium. I’d love an option to switch to that at any time

I’ve synced up the TV and radio to listen to Eric when ESPN or some other outfit does the TV. I grew up listening to Mark Holtz and Eric. They are irreplaceable.

Of all the teams’ broadcasts I watch, the rangers undoubtedly have the worst of the bunch. They are incredibly garrulous.
