this is my second play through and i’ve literally had to restart my whole game just bc i couldn’t get thru this specific part, whenever i try to get past it always refuses and won’t allow me to open the door can anyone help me and explain why this is giving me such a frustrating time i just wanna have fun and play but this is becoming so annoying

i’ve tried:
shooting all my amo and throwing my items
restarting my checkpoint
waiting for ellie to talk

i’ve become desperate bc this is literally the farthest i’ve gone and i can’t get anywhere

there was like a warehouse sale or something and my teach got these for 15 dollars

The fact that they got a likable actor such as Patrick Wilson playing her father playing likely means they will flesh out his character better than the game, and the audience may actually grow attached to him, which might actually make it easier to feel Abby’s sadness after Joel killed him, it’s hard to feel any sympathy for either in the game since he just barely has any screen time, and he feels like this random guy who definitely did not feel like losing Joel over. Honestly, though even if we get some wholesome flashbacks with Jerry showing what a good father he was, it still doesn’t make it ok how Abby became such a monster with her brutal sadistic murder of Joel and threatening Dina. Although I still believe she may be more redeemable than the game.

Bought the Remake because I have fond memories of playing the PS4 version as a kid. Everything worked great until I hit a certain point. In the beginning of the Museum section every time I enter the room in which Ellie gets grabbed, the game freezes, the sound is stuck perpetually repeating and there is absolutely nothing I can do other than close the game through task manager multiple times. It doesn't happen instantly every time, but always within 1-2 minutes of entering that room.

Fixes I have tried:

-Removing all mods

-Turning down all graphics and performance intensive features

-Closing every other foreground and backround application not required to play the game

-Verifying Game files

-Reverting to a prior save and replaying an hour or so before we reach the Museum

-Reinstalling the Game

-Starting a completely new save

-Installing the Game on the Steam deck and attempting to play with that

Nothing helped, the game always crashes in that one room, I do not know what is causing this. Does anyone else have this issue and/or might know what is causing it and/or how to fix it?

Im having this problem in the last of us part 1 when the floor go full black and joels hair is a mess, with poor quality and black spaces and dots, any solutions? thank you all
