Sporetober 2026 Day 5: Reclusive

[u/Sporelover105]

The Potmossa is a tiny creature that shares strong characteristics of a hedgehog. These creatures are often hard to spot due to the plant matter that covers their bodies, leaving only their snout and feet visible. They are sensitive and shy creatures, staying low to the ground as they forage for fruit. Potmossa are not very social and tend to stay to themselves to avoid conflict. They rely heavily on their noses to guide them. Potmossas can lock in smells and remember them for years. Any unfamiliar smells, such as meeting new creatures, can stress Potmossas out. With few defenses, the best they can do is scurry away and blend in with shrubbery.
