AI: 300,000+ Miles (480,000+ km): Extensive data from BYD e6 taxi fleets operating in Shenzhen, China, showed that after three to four years of round-the-clock service, units routinely hit 300,000 miles with around 10–15% battery degradation.

"These" Americans want gas cars, EVs would be too progressive for them 🫩

Or people don’t want to sit around for 90 minutes waiting for their cars to charge every 200 miles of driving.

You will sit 90 minutes crying after filling your f150 lol

That’s their choice to make. Taking 2 minutes to fill your tank beats sitting around for 90 minutes for most people.

How about most people don't have to drive anywhere but home?

Because most ev owners charge at home.

How are people who live in apartments gonna do that? Or people who don’t want to hire an electrician $1000-2500 to an install 240v charging station plus up to $4k more if they have to upgrade their service panel?

You mean what they will do knowing they saved 5k a year on gas after installing charging outlet?

$1500 annually on gas not $5k. Thats based on $3.77/gal but gas hasn’t increased by more than 3x over that number and the cost of electricity has increased as well.

Plus EVs cost almost $5k more than ICE alternatives on average.

So after a $2500 + $4000 charging station / panel upgrade + $5000 more for the EV it would take 7-8 years to see a savings.
