Can we do away with touch screens in cars? A small one is okay, but don’t put the air controls on a touch screen. I need to operate those by braille.

I believe the European Union is fighting for this because they determined that having touchscreen controls can actually be dangerous

Anybody with more than 2 brain cells to rub together could've told you this, yet the same morons now calling it dangerous are the ones who approved it in the first place.

The only way to turn on or off the headlights of our 2025 car is by touching the right icon on a touchscreen. It's not even at eye level, it's kind of low and hard to see and completely impossible to develop muscle memory for. Of course the car is supposed to automatically turn lights on/off but I'd doesn't do a good job turning them on when it's raining so now I'm looking down and away from the road during already dangerous driving conditions.
