there's at least a glimmer of "its not a free market" when all those companies are only so cheap because they are MASSIVELY subsidized by the Chinese Government.

I dont agree with banning them, but the argument is there and legit at least a little.

We subsidize all kinds of stupid shit like teslas or anything else that super genius wants, but not regular cars.

Yes, multiple times. In the 80s and then again about 30 years later.

Not to mention gas subsidies as well as bankrupting most forms of rail. Off the top of my head? I am sure that they got more but i am not an American.

The only reason railroads exist in the Northeast U.S. is because of government subsidies.
