If you're buying cars that die at 70k miles, you're either buying the wrong cars or don't take care of them. With the modern technology in engines, they don't die that fast anymore.

If you buy 2.0l with 8 turbos because you like the horsepower number then sure, they are shit but anything sensible is absolutely reliable. I've seen 1.0 TSI putting up 700k+ km numbers, just dont abuse them and maintain your fucking cars
