fr touchscreens are as bad as texting or playing on phone while driving. you literally have to take your eyes off the road to know what you're poking at (unless you want an xbox elite controller attached to to your steering wheel). there needs to be some sort of tactile input/feedback knob. the tech implementations needed to stop at electric window buttons, bluetooth connection, and front/rear dashcams.

I'm dying on this lawn

Yup.

Every important feature that you use while driving should be able to be groped for and found by touch.

I will join you on that lawn yomakest, it is completely self-evident that the touch screen controls are distracting and less safe. Completely agree.

Yep you really don't need all that stuff while driving any way. If they are going to have a screen it should be a small one for back up cam and that's it. My car has bluetooth and ac which is all I really need. It has some other features but they are not useful or needed.

I have a dumb car that can’t do any of that shit. I hate being in a car with someone that has the screen because they text while they drive but it is just as bad as being on their phone. I don’t know why that is legal but me picking up my phone for two seconds at a light to see where I need to turn is not.
