Is September 21st a significant date in meteorology or is this a random datapoint? Like I’m not doubting global warming but these are just two statements in a photo, is there a statistically significant link between them?

Well ordinarily, if you remember, the 21st night of September, love is changing the minds of pretenders while chasing the clouds away. So the fact that it hasn't had to do that is significant.
