No, don't make more.

9

u/-Xiphon- Aug 30 '26

"And here we see the influencer in their natural habitat. Oh no, it looks like another of the local fauna have encroached on their perceived territory and is getting agitated, fascinating."

217

u/Recurringg Aug 30 '26

I don't see her doing a stupid dance, or pranking anyone, or trying to look slutty, or singing in public, or anything remotely disruptive to the people around her. She's just trying to get a shot, or a clip of herself. It even appears that she's waiting for the room to be empty, which it was about to be until that old bitch stopped in the middle of the staircase.

Fuck influencers, but I mean, come on. Context matters. It's a young woman alone at some kind of art museum. Nothing hip about it. She's just doing her thing. Leave her tf alone.

82

u/Bionicjoker14 Aug 30 '26

She’s too hot to legitimately enjoy a museum, so she must only be doing it for internet points /s

-5

u/Nutcopter Aug 30 '26

You think she's hot? Nah bro, she's average.

27

u/Winterhorrorland Aug 30 '26

Yeah man. Sometimes I can only visit places on my own time, and but then I don't have any pictures of myself. I'm not a "selfie" guy and if I posed a nice picture and wasn't being dosruptive, what's the harm? This lady obviously noticed and decided to be in the way.

5

u/reevelainen Aug 30 '26

Most of elders are adorable, funny and kind people but some just love to be f*cktwats without any reasonable excuse.

1

u/Findict_52 Aug 30 '26

If we're honest, we (as in literally everyone) just hate young women, always have. Any hobby, movie, series, singer, whatever they like, all cringe. Twilight? Sucks. Swift? Overrated. Make-Up? Literally the devil. Dancing? Not in my field of view.

1

u/TheDoomedStar Aug 30 '26

Shhhhh, let reddit hate women.

1

u/Genny415 Aug 30 '26

If she just wanted a selfie, then she could hold her phone and snap the shot. This is WAAAAAY OTT

-1

u/PresentDifferent9718 Aug 30 '26

It's disruptive (it requires people not to pass or stand?) and selfish

-13

u/[deleted] Aug 30 '26

1

u/BuffThePinkClass Aug 30 '26

You can’t be that dumb

0

u/Razoraptorz Aug 30 '26

Its ragebait

2

u/Recurringg Aug 30 '26

She looked right at the phone so it's clear she is aware of it. If she thought it was forgotten there, she'd have turned around and said "Miss... Is this your phone?", and if she received a no, she'd have brought the phone to a lost and found. Or at least that's what a decent person would do. There's also the look of sour contempt on her face. She stops in a high traffic area, and doesn't appear be looking at art the whole time she's standing there.

It is extremely obvious what she is doing from a body language standpoint, and a cultural one. People can't stand influencers, so in her mind she thinks she's performing a public service because she sees a young women setting up for a selfy or a clip or whatever and assumes she's a teeny bopper influencer.

Like, come on. She's got bitch written all over her. If you can't see that, I'm concerned for your safety in a world filled with bitches, assholes, and dickheads.

0

u/Thelmara Aug 30 '26

Fuck influencers, but I mean, come on. Context matters. It's a young woman alone at some kind of art museum. Nothing hip about it. She's just doing her thing. Leave her tf alone.

Just doing her thing = posting videos of strangers?

-8

u/Dry_Razzmatazz69 Aug 30 '26

Fun question: where do you think that phone is poste? Is it:

A. On artwork she's not supposed to be touching

B. On a tripod that's occupying half the stairway

C. On a drone that shouldn't be flying indoors

D. It just fucking levitates with magic

6

u/roguepawn Aug 30 '26

E. A ledge

3

u/Findict_52 Aug 30 '26

Can't believe she'd inconvenience everyone by building a whole ledge there. Influencers...

1

u/Dry_Razzmatazz69 Aug 30 '26

Ah yes, the famous straight horizontal edges that always exist on stairways in old buildings that we can all see exist throughout the building

2

u/roguepawn Aug 30 '26

Man, you're going to feel really stupid when you see where this took place.

0

u/Dry_Razzmatazz69 Aug 30 '26

Cool ledge! Why the fuck is she touching it?

2

u/roguepawn Aug 30 '26

Okay. You're just desperate to be mad at someone doing something harmless.

Have a nice day.

-1

u/dcheng47 Aug 30 '26

why does she need a shot of her self in a museum? shes not an exhibit.

-2

u/TransientReddit Aug 30 '26

Using the commons and getting annoyed the people exist because they’re interrupting your shot…you’re acting like an annoying influencer.

Go to private places or book them if you want freedom to keep your shot clean and clear. Otherwise, you’re main charactering. Stopping in the walkway, on the stairs, in doorways, etc., it’s all selfish behavior whether it’s for one shot or 100 or to do a dance or a skit or anything.

1

u/Recurringg Aug 30 '26 edited Aug 30 '26

Who's stopping in the middle of the stairs? 😂

Who's getting upset? 🫵

38

u/maringue Aug 30 '26

We need more influencers like we need more DJs.

0

u/frankles Aug 30 '26

Except there are good DJs.

2

u/maringue Aug 30 '26

The ration of good to bad DJs is like 1 in 20 million.

1

u/Dry_Razzmatazz69 Aug 30 '26

Still better than the influencer ratio

1

u/smokeweedNgarden Aug 30 '26

Wish we would ration DJs

0

u/fawnadoe Aug 30 '26

At least djs are making art and doing something

51

u/Mite-o-Dan Aug 30 '26

How do you know this is an influencer?

Ive taken tons of photos of myself next to lots of famous things, and I can assure you that Im not an influencer.

18

u/Interesting-Smells Aug 30 '26

Her name is Débora Aladim and she makes history related content…

5

u/DMmeyourcampingrigs Aug 30 '26

I know nothing about TikTok or instagram, but making history related content is actually informative and something I would watch.

I think the term 'influencer' is too broad. There is a huge difference between trying to receive low-effort attention vs sharing a hobby you're actually passionate about.

I'm a quilter, I woudn't consider the ladies doing quilt content at fairs influencers, we need a better term for talented people showing their work.

19

u/GamerGurl3980 Aug 30 '26

This!! She literally could just be a woman taking photos of herself. That lady could literally just move out the way.

10

u/NorthernVale Aug 30 '26

Fuck just moving out of the way. She could have simply not stopped to intentionally block someone's shot.

2

u/GamerGurl3980 Aug 30 '26

Exactly!! And people defending her in the comments is CRAZY. 😭 Like... why sre you defending a random middle aged woman being rude???

5

u/intelligent_rat Aug 30 '26

Non-influencers don't feel the need to try to vilify people who they think are sabotaging their shot, they either simply live with it and move on or take another a minute or two later.

2

u/Mite-o-Dan Aug 30 '26

I have posted and shared lots of pictures of people photo bombing me intentionally and unintentionally because I thought it was funny. Im not the only one. What's the difference?

-1

u/EmptyHandle6593 Aug 30 '26

Were you dropped on your head as a child? If I was trying to take a picture of my wife in front of a famous painting and some asshat kept standing in the way, you're damned right I'd be pissed.

The difference between me and the woman in this video is she has the platform to shame these asshats. And they need shaming.

1

u/PresentDifferent9718 Aug 30 '26

"Standing in the way?"

60

u/TheSwimMeet Aug 30 '26

What about this indicates them being an influencer

47

u/dolliciousszz Aug 30 '26

Literally nothing ppl just make assumptions so they can flame this random girl

3

u/Wide_Ad5549 Aug 30 '26

The shot she was trying to get was messed up by people walking by (in a public area), and instead of deleting and trying again, she posted it.

2

u/Flatline334 Aug 30 '26

It was messed up by the annoying lady which is why it was posted. The video is because it was in public so she could snag the one person free shot if she got one. She understood people would be walking up and down.

1

u/bananaholy Aug 30 '26

I mean i would and im not an influencer. So that behavior doesnt imply that she is an influencer

3

u/Remli_7 Aug 30 '26

She's a young attractive women and Reddit gets really weird about that.

-3

u/KIDD_VIDD Aug 30 '26

The fact that it's even online. Why post a clip of your botched video? Probably for cool internet points from their minions, eh, fans.

In either case, it wouldn't bother me. I'd just continue being normal in a public setting. I definitely wouldn't go out of my way to stay out of an "influencers" shot, but I also wouldn't purposely try to sabotage their video neither.

15

u/TheSwimMeet Aug 30 '26

Damn so now you cant post things online without being an influencer?? Maybe she just wanted to take a picture of herself somewhere she thought looked cool and thought the interaction w the stranger was worth posting

Regardless tho I’m with you in that i’m sure as hell not goin out of my way to stay out of their shot. but as long as nobody is affected by what theyre doin nobody else should really care

We're all influencers! See how I influenced you to respond to me? I also responded to you.

1

u/hightrix Aug 30 '26

All of it?

0

u/Bionicjoker14 Aug 30 '26

She’s hot (and everyone knows hot people can’t do things like go to a museum), so she must be an influencer only doing this for attention /s

60

u/cjameson83 Aug 30 '26

That's not "influencer" behavior. She didn't sing, she didn't dance, she didn't do anything aside from trying to take a picture. You know people are allowed to take pictures or video and not every picture or video is influencer bs yes?

-18

u/ElevateOof Aug 30 '26

People are also allowed to stand in front of your camera in public when you are using it in public. Enjoy your pictures. Must be sad being so starved to be noticed that an individual is taking pictures of themselves. How narrcistiic and self important. "Waaah waah capture my likeness in this photograph waaaaaah" capture this moment of me at a place with items type shit. I hate humans.

8

u/mbdtf95 Aug 30 '26

Least miserable Redditor

5

u/cjameson83 Aug 30 '26

Yes? People often want to take pictures of unique places they go or big moments in life, that's normal.... very normal. I mean yes, the older woman is allowed to stand wherever she wants, but the difference here is one woman isn't doing anything rude, disrespectful or wrong, the other is actively being a rude bitch, and for no reason. If the picture taking woman was being annoying or doing.... anything to get attention, I'd be all for the older woman's act of defiance... but that just wasn't the case.

-5

u/ElevateOof Aug 30 '26

I find pick me "taking a photo in public" behavior as rude and disrespectful. It's a museum not a gala

3

u/cjameson83 Aug 30 '26

I want to agree but I'm not getting "pick me" vibes from this. Pick me would be if she's trying to get clout or attention, but there is no one there, no group of people at the beginning even. Perhaps she'll post it online to some influencer page of hers, that's possible sure, but in that very moment, she's not doing anything pick me-esque as far as I can tell. Taking a photo in public is the best, and sometimes only, way to capture a memory and remind yourself of the experience and share it with others.

2

u/Dr_Nebbiolo Aug 30 '26

“I hate humans.”

Haha, I bet it’s mutual

1

u/ElevateOof Aug 30 '26

Oh it is😊

3

u/Gnaues Aug 30 '26

You sound pathetic.

-4

u/ElevateOof Aug 30 '26

I'm pathetic because I am secure enough to respectfully utilize public spaces without acting like the entire universe is my personal blog? Okay. I'm pathetic.

1

u/Important_Level3904 Aug 30 '26

The irony in this comment is delicious

-1

u/EmptyHandle6593 Aug 30 '26

Acceptance is the first step.

1

u/bananaholy Aug 30 '26

Being “allowed” to do something doesnt mean its not an asshole move. If someone cuts in front of you, doesnt mean that you cant be irritated by it.

0

u/Devastatedby Aug 30 '26

You know you're the insufferable one, right?

0

u/DowntownJohnBrown Aug 30 '26

You sound like you desperately need to get laid…

7

u/maximind2000 Aug 30 '26

Just because you don’t like “influencers” doesn’t give you the license to be an asshole. She was disturbing nobody and the old lady just decided to be annoying.

7

u/WolverineKrueger Aug 30 '26

God forbid someone try to take one picture of themself.

4

u/in_conexo Aug 30 '26

I've been around the world, but I have no pictures of it. I kind of wish I had taken some now; if only so I could more easily look back and reminisce.

3

u/Heart-Pirates Aug 30 '26

Lmao sure but your comment isn't applicable to this. I've taken photos and videos in a stairwell similar to this of my partner, it's a totally normal thing to do, especially in places like this.

4

u/Bigbangmk2 Aug 30 '26

That’s not necessarily an influencer

7

u/regoapps Aug 30 '26

Gotta pay more for that

10

u/BigFigJ Aug 30 '26

she’s an influencer because she wants a photo? lmao

2

u/butterfly-blades Aug 30 '26

Shes literally just taking a picture

2

u/LimpEase1639 Aug 30 '26

How the fuck is the "influencer" the issue here?

5

u/JBKafka Aug 30 '26

yall are weird and childish af for assuming anything about her when she’s just trying to take a pic

3

u/CrackIn_TheEarth Aug 30 '26

These subreddits are where the bots go to level up their culture war exp

2

u/formerdgstm Aug 30 '26

Taking a pic? The phone was running a video. Besides this was fake.

4

u/dolliciousszz Aug 30 '26

I hope it’s fake lol. But some ppl record videos and find the right screenshot later

2

u/phil-yahiney Aug 30 '26

That's one way people take pictures. They take a video and screenshot it

1

u/digoon7 Aug 30 '26

she’s literally just trying to take a screenshot from a video because she doesn’t have anyone to take her pictures… young people do this all the time. shut the fuck up

1

u/NTMTR_ Aug 30 '26

You’re not very perceptive are you

1

u/DreamedJewel58 Aug 30 '26

I seriously don’t understand some people’s need to shit in everything. I’ve seen non-influencers have set-ups like that to take a photo or small video. She did it in the moment where no one was around, the old lady being a dick about it made it to where she could no longer take the photo/video without anyone around

She wasn’t bothering anybody until the woman purposefully made sure that she couldn’t take the photo in the brief moment that no one else was around

1

u/OpThrowAwayBud Aug 30 '26

Are you mad bc your life has no joy or value?

Listen I'm all for that too, but this just looks like a girl trying to take a selfie. She's not twerking on the stairs and yelling at people for blocking the view.

1

u/Significant-Dream991 Aug 30 '26

I know it might be a shcoking information to the average redditor. But people that go out like to take pictures of them, they aren't necesserely influencers

besides, this is likely staged as 99% of things in internet.

1

u/java_brogrammer Aug 30 '26

u/asdfa2342543 Aug 30 '26 edited Aug 30 '26

She didn’t really disturb anyone, and apparently she’s trying to make educational content, which i feel is more worthy of the minute tripod inconvenience than just taking a selfie for a personal Instagram.  Even her reaction to the camera was extremely tame.

The lady’s reaction was pretty passive aggressive and didn’t communicate in any way what her problem is.  If the problem is that the tripod is in the way, she can use her words. If the problem is she just generally hates influencers, well she’s going to have a hard time adjusting to the new reality we live in because that’s a significant portion of the economy now

1

u/yipy2001 Aug 30 '26

I’m sorry but who sees someone setting up a cool camera shot and feels the need to block it just to be disruptive? No reason to think she’s trying to be an influencer.

-4

u/BearcatInTheBurbs Aug 30 '26

It’s clearly a museum…

6

u/NorthernVale Aug 30 '26

And that matters why exactly? I also take selfie when I'm out doing things I enjoy. Doesn't make me an influencer.

-1

u/BearcatInTheBurbs Aug 30 '26

Do you also need to set your phone up on the stairs? Take a selfie with your arm and move along.

3

u/LimpEase1639 Aug 30 '26

Who fucking cares how they take the picture? The old woman is going out of her way to be a problem. It's probably a skit but the "influencer" isn't doing anything wrong anyways.

5

u/NorthernVale Aug 30 '26

People are allowed to frame their photos how they wish. Especially when the point of their photo is the location. It doesn't make them an influencer, and neither does the location being in a museum.

You see someone by themselves taking picture, waiting patiently for you to leave so they don't bother you? You don't bother them either and move along. It's that simple.

u/Chemical-Actuary1561 Aug 30 '26
